One Day at Disney... what would u suggest?!

Okay, scratch that whole idea since there is ZERO availability at Value resorts those days. The Yacht club has rooms for 450 a night though. Yikes.

If your cruise comes back on the 6th and you have an entire day on the 7th, leaving on the 8th for home, I'd do the same thing I just suggested, but a week later. The crowds will be thinning out by then, but not entirely dead like it will be later in January.

First of all thank you ALL for your advise you've been most helpful! Second I think it's going to be the Magic Kingdom. I looked into the park hopper pass and i dont think its worth it to spend an extra 40 dollars to go on one ride... no matter how amazing it looks.

I think we will be staying after the cruise and go to Disney World Jan 7th because I really dont want to be waiting in line all day. And it gives me something to look forward to once we're done on the cruise. :)

Transportation wise... we may just stay in the kissamee area which offers free shuttles to disney and take mears to the airport and back we're still looking into that but thank you all again :D

You should invest in an Unofficial Guide to WDW before you leave. In addition to be great light reading, you will be able to make some educated decisions about what you want to do first. Even if you don't use the touring plans to the letter, orienting yourself to the set up of the park and the rides will make your magical visit better.

"Lucky4me" has some great ideas....too bad the hotels are booked then. I think you will have a much better experience in January than the December date.

Have fun!

actually they aren't fully booked they were tentative dates we were looking at but after talking to our travel agent yesterday we are actually gunna be staying a few days after so i will be in disney on the 7th so hopefully the crowds will be better :D:D:D
