We are staying at a Disney Resort but want to spend a day at either US or IOA or both. Can you do both in one day or should we pick one. DD really wants to ride the Spiderman ride at IOA, so we are thinking of just doing it. Any park info would be great. Thanks

On our last Disney cruise we decided to go to Universal after we got off the ship and before the airport. We had about 7 hours. We purchased the express passes and did both parks in one day...even stopped for lunch!

I just went up to both Universal and IOA for a day. I really beleived that it could be done in a day but it's really not easy. We got there an hour before opening and stayed until the parks closed and we missed a lot at Universal. We also had Express Plus Passes. It's just too much to cram into one day.

I'm working on the my trip report now so if you want to see how much we got done then just kepp checking back cause I'm updating it every day.http://disboards.com/showthread.php?p=19276623#post19276623

You can definitely do parts of both parks in one day. Go to the website and decide what you want to ride in both parks. Do those rides and then go from there. Don't expect to be able to do everything in one day. It is like trying to do Magic Kingdom and MGM in one day.

Checked and there are no express passes for the day we are going it will also be a Sat. (9/1). Dd looked over both parks and is set on Spiderman ride so I guess we will be doing IOA. Can anyone tell me about the Spiderman ride. Is it a motion simulator or does it actually move from one point to another?

There are express passes. Go back to the page you were looking at and scroll down. They are in the bottom chart for $30.99

Spiderman moves from room to room but there is simulated movement as well.

Spiderman is hard to explain. It's a one of a kind ride that incorporates a real moving vehicle that you sit in with 3D effects and amzing simulations.

As for the Express Passes, they do offer them on that day. Scroll down until you see the $30.99 1 Day/2 Park Express Plus Passes.
