I know there are tons of "one day, HP" questions, but I know my boys are going to want to do JP for sure. Can we fit all of this in and be able to take it all in without feeling like we're rushing too much and still NOT get express pass?

Thanks

Sorry! Meant to add that. Some time between Jan 8-14, although it could be 4-6, but that seems like a more crowded time.

If 1 day is not enough, I'm thinking 2 days would be better than express pass, as 2 days would be about $300 cheaper. It would take away from one of our WDW days, but we've been enough times that we could do it. I'd rather just do 1 day, though!

The later you go in January, the more likely you'll be able to get everything done. It is certainly going to be tight because the parks close early in January!

Jurassic Park has much to offer that is not a scheduled ride or queue, thus no need for EP. The attractions in the Discovery Center are more like a please touch museum. The play area has rope climbs and caves, very fun. At least take a walk around and enjoy the theming. It is so easy to get to from Hogsmeade, you will not regret spending at least a few minutes there.

Boys just said we can skip Jurassic Park. Apparently they are so over dinosaurs and did not think to update me. :) So we are strictly doing WWHP. I think we'll give 1 day a shot!

IMO if you are going in the Jan 8 - 14 time frame, and doing a mid-week visit (Tuesday - Thurs) You should be able to do all of HP and add in a few additional attractions if you like (Spiderman, Mummy, Transformers etc.)

Brilliant! That's what I wanted to hear. :) Parks close at 7, but I think I'd like to get back to Disney before the youngest's bedtime anyway.

Thanks!

I would definitely try to get Spiderman and Transformers in there for them and Mummy!

How old are the boys? JP is a really cool themed area and the JP ride is a lot of fun. Plus I heard good things about the Raptor encounter.

There really is a lot to do at Universal. If the boys like Marvel that area is a lot of fun and there are meet and greets with the characters. The horror make-up show is a lot of fun, Men In Black is a fun ride and the theming in both parks is amazing. I would check out their web-site and see all that there is to see.

Also, I'm sure you're aware of this but make sure to get park to park tickets.
