Ds and I are definitely not the daredevil type. Dd on the other hand seems to have inherited the gene that made dh think that being in the airborne jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and helicopters was a really good idea when he was in the Army. Unfortunately he won't be joining us on the trip which means I have to decide what to do about dd wanting to ride EVERYTHING. If it was ds who was the daredevil it wouldn't be a problem, he'll be 12 and I'd just let him get in the single rider line and dd and I would wait for him at the exit. Dd though will be 9, I'm not so sure about doing that with her. She wants to ride Space Mountain, I did it once that was more than enough for me and ds says no way. She wants to ride Rockin Roller Coaster, no way I'm doing that and I don't think ds will either even though I know he really wants to. I'm considering ToT and if I do it ds will so that one may not be a problem but if I chicken out it will be. I'm not worried about dd getting on something then deciding at the last minute she doesn't want to do it or freaking out in the middle of a ride, I'm just not sure 9 is old enough to send a child into a ride by themselves. Any advice from veterans?
