One Breakfast. One Dinner. One Must Eat Item

I thought it might be helpful for you to see what someone who hasn't been to DL before also thought so here are my "must-do's" for our family's trip...

Breakfast - Character, for sure. Goofy's is supposed to have better food while Minnie's has more characters.

Dinner - Cafe Orleans - Now, I would say Blue Bayou but they don't have the Monte Cristo at dinner time which the majority of the DISers love. If you go to Blue Bayou for lunch, then my suggestion for dinner is ESPN Zone in DTD.

Must Have - I know me, and I know there will be A LOT of money spent on Churros. They are my favorite snack.

Breakfast: Lilo & Stitch at PPH
Lunch/Dinner: Nachos from WWS. I seriously crave these and even made an at home version for dinner last night.
Snack: Frozen apple juice from Fantasyland or Toontown Fair carts.

Breakfast - I LOVE the cinnamon roll french toast at Carnation Cafe
Dinner - Hard decision between the monte cristo at Cafe Orleans, or loaded baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe
Must Eat Item - cheese and jalapeno filled pretzel from Coke Corner. These make a good light lunch

I have been wanting to try one of those pretzels. They sound so good!

Here are my choices if I could only pick one for each;

Breakfast: Storyteller Cafe
Lunch: Ariel's Grotto
Dinner: Steakhouse 55

Snack/Must Eat: Corn Dog

One Breakfast - River Belle Terrace

One Dinner - Carnation Cafe

One Must Eat Item - Pretzel w/Cheese

Hi Mary Jo,
I'm with you on dinner. Steakhouse 55 mmmm...

I 2nd park hopping if you only have two days.

Breakfast: goofys kitchen
lunch/dinner: ariels grotto
must have: jalepeno cheese pretzel (I think I had 4 on our last trip!)

Breakfast: Minnie & Friends at Plaza Inn
Dinner: Blue Bayou by the water
1 must eat item: Dole Whip

and seeing that we need to try Carnation Cafe for breakfast on our trip coming up!

I don't get to excited over the food at Disney. I love the pineapple whips and a chocolate covered frozen banana. I know I am boring.

First off almost no one would reccomend the one park each day plan.....so get seperate advice on that.

Breakfast - Riverbelle terrace outside seating
Lunch - Pacific wharf bakery soup in a breadbowl
Dinner - French market

snack - mickey bar during the day, and Churro in the evening

Breakfast = Goofy's Kitchen (it's actually located at GCH so you don't need a Park ticket to go...so perhaps you can go there on the morning of your departure day? I believe they are open as early 7am...at least during peak seasons anyway)
Dinner = Napa Rose (I can't go to DL and not have a meal there but they are pretty pricey...so worth it though!) Otherwise, I'd go with Cafe Orleans if it's not within your budget
Must have item = Dole whip! But the churros are really scrumptious too :thumbsup2

I also agree with the PP that it would not be the best use of your trip to allocate one day per park. It would be a lot more worth it to get Park Hoppers so that you can go around. Plus, DLP opens early and closes later than DCA, which will allow you more park time.

Have fun deciding! :goodvibes

Oooh, having just planned our trip:

Breakfast - Carnation Cafe (this is the ONLY place my DS wants to go for breakfast, every day :rotfl2:)

Dinner: Cafe Orleans - yummy gumbo, Monte Cristo, Pommes Frites - oh my!

Must have: Corn dogs, baby

Have fun!!

I'll absolutely second that! Only difference is I have a daughter and I'm not a fan of gumbo. lol

Hhhmmm... well.. LiLo and Stitch had a great breakfast, i loved their terraki salmon and rice. Minnie Mouse was there as well as Lilo and Stitch and we all were given lei's and pins. Great time!

For Dinner it would be Napa Rose. My very favourite dining experience in the park. Try the Chef's tasting menu, be sure to tell them if there is anything you don't like so they won't include it on your plates, and sit at the Chef's counter.

Must have snack.. hhmmm..the fresh fruit is lovely and i'm not a big popcorn person, yet it's always salty and good at disneyland.

Have a Lovely Time!:goodvibes

Breakfast: Lilo and Stitch or Minnie and Friends

Lunch: Carnation Cafe

Dinner: Wine Country Trattoria

Must have: either corn dog from red wagon or pumpkin muffin (if during holiday season) or a couple of skewers from bengal bbq yum
