We are going be to sailing the dream next year and I wanted know about the Murphy beds in the suites. Ds is about 6'3. Will he be able to fit on the Murphy bed? Thanks

Yes will fit my son got on them, note your ok on the new ships there comfortable on the magic it's quite old and poor now.

If you google Disney Cruise Murphy bed and look at the photos/images that it pulls up, you will find some. I am not sure of the rules about posting links to other sites on the Disboards so I didn't post a link, but they are out there.

We stayed in one of these rooms once, but there were only 4 of us (it was a surprise, we didn't even know they existed). I think it will be tight, but honestly we hare hardly ever in the room except to sleep at night, so I am sure it will be fine.

I'm thinking he may be uncomfortable on the murphy because they are a bit short and narrow. Below is a pic from our B2B Dream cruises in 2011.

It does look short...he did o.k. On the pull out couch last trip., so Iam guessing it will be a pull out again this trip. Thanks so much for the pic.

I think width wise, he'll be okay. Length wise, his feet are going to hang off. Will this bother him? You didn't say how old he is, but every teenage boy I have ever known sleeps like the dead anyway.
