Hi there,

Wondering if anyone has stayed in a one bedroom suite and/or knows more specifically where they are located throughout the resort?

Thanks!

Dani

Yes...the one bedroom suites are noting more than pretty much two adjoins rooms and room #2 is a living room with a half bath (or full bath...can't remember). Other than a bit more space, they were exactly like a regular room.

I believe they are spread through the property.

The OP is likely wants information about one bedroom suites (GCH rooms) rather than one bedroom villas (VGC)
Ooops that sounded the same to me but thanks for clarifying! I have only stayed at GCH normal rooms so do not think of their suites automatically. :)

Yes, I was trying to get info on the hotel suites....layout and bathroom situation. It is slightly more expensive than two rooms but I am worried that the hotel wouldn't be able to meet my request for adjoining rooms since they aren't guaranteed. I would prefer two rooms just so no one has a couch instead of a real bed but it is what it is. I am just happy to be going for a visit!
Thanks!

There is a GCH Superthead on this form. I thought I would find a link in the Newbie sticky thread but could not. You can find it by searching. It will have diagrams like you want.

Some information about suite locations from the GCH Superthread.

There are several one bedroom suite layouts, all have only a single full bath.

2 bedroom suites (or 3 bedroom) are formed be adding adjoining regular hotel rooms to a 1 bedroom suite. This is the only guaranteed way to have connecting rooms.

Most regular GCH rooms have a connecting door, so you will likely be able to get connecting rooms (but not guaranteed).

Thank you, super helpful! I would have loved a 2BR but the sticker shock is a bit much! I guess I have to weigh the risk of non guaranteed connecting but plenty of beds and two bathrooms versus the reliability of a 1 BR suite...the cost differential is minimal so that doesn't really move the needle.

Virtually every room has a connection option...so while it is not “guaranteed” the way you ensure it is book two adults in room one and only two children in room two.
