Hi everybody. First let me say to anybody staying at the poly this past weekend:I'm sorry. Every year I "do" WDW and look down my nose at the families that are fighting. This year my son turned 13 and woowee, we had a monster along on our vacation and try as hard as we might, the adults got grumpy. Sorry if you were near and had to witness it.
Now onto the good stuff: first we "had" to extend our long weekend because of snow at home. Dance with me people.
And finally, this one is unbelievable. We went to the Magic Kingdom and had to buy our kids extra days on their tickets so we went to the windows under the train station. As an afterthought we had the ticket agent check the adult's tickets to see how many days were left (zero.) After checking all of our old tickets for any unused days, we decided to purchase myw 5 day tickets for a parents only trip in April. The ticket agent listened to us trying to decide how many days that we wanted and when we were done, she said that she was going to give us 2 complimentary park hopper tickets so that we wouldn't have to activate our 5 dayers yet. How's that for magic? This is what we wanted to do to the ticket agent.
We LOVE wdw but nothing has ever happened like that before! I immediately wanted to head home and tell my DIS friends.
