One adult, $120 dollars, and a reward

I'm quitting smoking, and decided my incentive would be that I would take the money that I would normally spend on one months worth of cigarettes and do something really special just for ME at Disney. I've never scheduled anything extra and above other than dinner shows or ADR's, and honestly don't even know what's out there. Because it's a no-smoking reward, it'll be something that I'll have to plan no more than one month before my trip in November, so I know that the few biggies that most people know about (the dolphin program, the Segway tour) are likely to be booked up, and I'm really not the spa type at all, my idea of relaxation is doing something new and on the adventurous side. Anyone want to make some suggestions for something in the $120'ish range that hopefully I wouldn't have trouble booking last minute?

You could rent boats/water mice.

Good for you, by the way! Sending lots of :wizard: your way!!!!

Quitting smoking- been there! I quit about a year before my 2005 trip, and it was so nice to talk past the smoking areas in the park (stinky!) and not have to stop.

Reward- how about fishing on Bay Lake (ask for the Nitro boat, nothing faster on the lake)?

Good luck!

Does it have to be a thing to do? Or can it be a really cool souvenir you've always had your eye on?

Souveniers we're already accounting for, including at least one thing we've been really wanting (I know they're hideously overpriced, but we like the autographed framed prints of the movie characters and are going to add another to our collection this trip). But parasailing or fishing sounds like a definite option . . . is that booked through the regular reservations number or do you have to call one of the resorts on the lake?

You can try to get tickets at Cirque in Cat 1 seating ( ~$102 after tax ), and get the DVD ( $25-30 i think?? cant remember off hand ) after the show.

You can usually get tickets about a week in advance still. If you are going SOLO, it's even easier, as they usually have one or two "oddball" open seats here or there that groups split between.

The earlier you can call, the better - but for the most part they don't sell out until about the night before - or two nights before during the busy seasons. Give or take of course :)

HOw about the backstage magic tour? I did KTTK and it was wonderful. Not sure how fast they fill up, but I got the Segway and KTTK with less than 2 months notice.
