Once Was Enough.

Once was enough when I went to the Country Bear Jamboree. The only reason I went in there was because I was with my Grandmother and she was dying to go see it. I didn't have a choice because of how young I was. I hate that show. But then again, I hate country music.

I won't lose any sleep if I never get on Astro Orbiter again, and I think I would rather poke myself in the eyes repeatedly than sit through the Tiki Room again.

Wow... After reading all 7 pages of rides and attractions and resorts and restaurants people didn't like so much, I'm starting to wonder:

WHY AM I STILL GOING TO DISNEYWORLD IN SEPT AT ALL!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Don't worry! There will be plenty of things you will like, I promise ;)

I am kind of surprised when people complain about an attraction being "just a boat ride" or "a moving cart". I have to wonder what was expected :confused3 The ride part is not the main attraction. It's not meant to be a thrill ride. It is the environment, the scenes, the storylines of what you are seeing as you pass through. It's the theming that Imagineers do

Tower of Terror
Mission Space
Tony's Town Square
Planet Hollywood

Character dinning (thank goodness my daughter is past this!)
Whispering Canyon (Bad food and not into the "fun")
Swiss Family Treehouse (maybe if I was in better shape)
Stitch
Kali River Rapids (rode in June and did not get wet) (lower than average river raft ride)
Being to proud/cheep to get a taxi to take us to the resort after we closed down MK. (would have been the best $15 we spent on the trip, instead we waited for the other 700 people in our line to fill the buses.)

Restaurants:
Morocco (mediocre food/lovely theme)
Tony's (can't stomach $20plate of spagetti)

Attractions:
BackLotTour - once was enough - too long driving down alleys & we did see the Golden Girls House

No Desire:
Sounds Dangerous
Astro Orbiters

Just Can't Seem to Get to:
Swiss Family Treehouse
Stitch's Great Escape

However, if I was with someone who wanted to do any of the above I probably would because I'm a good sport!

I'm not going to say never, since I have 4 nephews that have yet to experience WDW. But these are the ones I can do without for now...

MK
Stitch's Great Escape (I left this ride VOWING NEVER TO DO IT AGAIN)
Enchanted Tiki Room (the old version was better)
Indy Speedway (it just wasn't what I expected - disappointing)

Epcot
Mission Space - Orange (I was so sick after this one!)
Living with the Land (once was nice, and the song is annoying!)
Circle of Life (not very memorable)
All WS movies except El Rio Tiempo (really like that one)
Stayed away from Imagination and Ellen's Energy (going with my instincts)

DHS
Stayed away from Star Tours and Sounds Dangerous (not fond of Drew Carey humor - again followed my instincts)

AK
Primeval Whirl (did not like this at all!)
Dinosaur (once was nice, but probably never again)

Mission Space. Although I agree it was amazing I will never do it again, I felt blah for 3 hours after riding. I know they have the less motion one now but I elieve it would take away from the original. The ride was great, just didnt like the aftermath.
Also Yak and Yeti. Now that I know there is a counter service we will use that this trip. The food was yummy but now that I know I can get it to go I can keep moving :)

Snow White's Scary Adventures.

Who IS the target audience for this ride? It scares the bejesus out of the little ones and is too lame for rest of us.

KJ

I'm not really sure why, but DH loves this ride. He loves all the Fantasy Land Dark Rides. :cutie:

My Once-Is-Enough List:
The New Tiki Room
Stitch's Escape (hurt my shoulders and smelled bad! :headache: )
Spinning version of Mission Space (we were sick for hours after that!:scared:)
Indy Speedway (Bor-ing!)

Rides I will do over and over again:
Dumbo!
Tea Cups
Space Mountain
BTMRR
Figment (I miss the 1980's version though)
Pirates
Safari
Hall of Presidents (Kept putting it off, but ended up really liking it. Cried like a baby out of patriotic pride. I am such a geek! )
Dole Whip and Goofy's Make-Your-Own Candy popcorn::

There's more, but I wanted to end my post of a positive note! :thumbsup2

I'm going for the Astro Orbitors too, I was shockingly squished and frightening that we'd fall out! Combine that with the height you're at, and there's why I'll never 'fly' again!

Last time we passed on Country Bears and Hall of Presidents too, Bears needs updating and no offence intended, but after watching Presidents once before AND being from the UK, it doesn't really hold much interest for me now.

Stitch's Great Escape. If it still exists when my kids are old enough not to be spooked by it, then I'm leaving it to DH to take them (since he's the one who made me go with him).

Akershus Lunch. The food was bland. The Princess experience wasn't worth the price or bland food.

Expedition Everest. I'm glad I rode it, because the theming is AWESOME (and I enjoy walking through the line), but I get horribly motion sick from rides that go backwards, and I felt yucky for several hours afterwards. So I will just look from afar from now on!

Here's my list to date:
Stitch's Great Escape
Astro Orbitor
Tea Cups
Mission:Space
50's Prime Time Cafe
Hall Of Presidents
The American Adventure
Jungle Cruise
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
Soarin'
Universe of Energy
Muppets 3-D
Beauty and the Beast Stage Show
Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Seems like alot but I am sure there are more. I pretty much visit my favorites over and over again each trip.

Rides/Attractions:
Stitch's Great Escape
BackLot Tour
Honey I Shrunk the Audience
Stunt Show at HS
Star Tours

Restaurants: Tony's - horrible "Italian" food
ABC Commissary - yuck!

Le Cellier- Don't really like the place, and they took away the soup I loved
Kali Rivier Rapids-I don't really like walking around the park wet.
Universe of Energy-It just takes too long
