Emma can leave SB. She did tonight with August. :moped:

Maybe Mr. Gold (or someone else) wants her to stay. Whomever it is, prevented her from leaving the first time by having her swerve to not hit the wolf. They allowed her to leave with August but are preventing her from leaving with Henry.

Oh, and along the lines of leaving/not leaving, I took it that Henry grabbed the wheel & wrecked the car to stop her from leaving.

Isn't the rule they can leave if they're planning on coming back?

Emma and August were planning on coming back all along. Henry was planning on coming back when he went to get Emma...

non of those 3 started off in storybook..... Emma and august went straight from Fairytale to the "real world" so they were not bound by the Evil Queens curse...so they can leave and enter story book all the want...........Emmas son was also born in the "real world" and brought to story book by mister Gold so he can come and go all they want...he is not bound by curse cause he never lived in Fairytale.....I always wondered what happens to him when the curse is lifted cause he was not orriginally from fairytale

now I am thinking that the reason was that Mr Gold got Henry cause his son Bae( Henrys dad) must have found a way to get him to him...there has to be a connection cause they never said Gold left story book...just that he got Henry for Regina

It was anti-climatic. The best part was when I was scared that David would fall for Regina, but it may still happen. Oh, and I did see a heartwarming part when August went to the workshop. His sweet daddy.:lovestruc

I am just sick of Emma not believing what is right in front of her face. What would it hurt to try to believe in it? Nothing. :headache:

Also, why would Emma not be able to leave SB? It showed her car crash, but I thought she and Henry could leave. :confused3

I think Emma, Henry and August CAN leave Storybrooke because they were all "outside" of the curse. I agree with blana - it looked to me like Henry grabbed the wheel to stop Emma from leaving.

I'm guessing Henry doesn't want Emma to leave because he knows she's the only one who can break the curse. I think Emma wanted to leave because she was starting to believe what August told her - that she's the only one who can save everyone in the town from Regina - and it's not logical and so crazy-sounding that she's scared. So she's doing what she's probably done her whole life - running away.

I, too, liked the end where August went to work in his father's woodshop. very heart-warming.

99% of me always thought that August was Pinocchio but I somewhat doubted it because the actor that plays him said something along the lines of being honored to play such an important fairy tale role in the story. I couldn't quite figure out why Pinocchio would be so essential to the story so that was the teeny part of me that was holding out believe that he was Pinocchio. However, I really like the direction they went with the story and why Pinocchio, and essentially August, is so important. Makes total sense now.

I also want to slap Emma. I can see being doubtful but holy cow do they want us to hate her because she's driving me nuts?!?!

I felt the same way. Then I started to think about it. Why should she trust anything, particularly fairy tales, given the way she grew up? I think she's more well-adjusted than she should be, given the circumstances.

Oh, and I still don't understand why the original story wasn't "7 year old and infant found on the side of the road". Since August/Pinnochio wasn't already in the "system", wouldn't SOMEONE have put his info out there as well, hoping to find an adult who was related to him, too?

Wow, didn't stumble across this thread before.

I will go back and catch up, as there looks like a lot of info and speculation exists.

But before I do, what is everyone's thoughts on Who Emma Swan is?

I have my suspicion, just looking to confirm. ;)

Did anyone else notice that, when the blue fairy came to talk to SW and PC around the round table, Granny was knitting Emma's baby blanket?

Also, what was up with the three swords and the shield just inside the door as August walked into Mr. Golds store? They are a clue for something.

Finally, Jiminy witnessed Gepetto's dishonesty. I wonder if, as the curse goes away, Mr. Hopper will remember and that will lead to Gepetto being looked at less lovingly by the community.

One thing I liked about last night, it was the first time that we see David and he is not a wishy washy sap. He actually stood up for himself and did what he thought was right instaed of just going with the flow and hoping things would work out right for him.

He told Regina "No" and left.

This is his 1st step, in the right direction, in a long time.

I was thinking the same thing about Emma - running away like she always has done. She's probably freaked because...hasn't she been alone all (or most) of her life? She tends to be strong, but I think her biggest weakness is she doesn't believe in herself and I think that is why she can't (or won't) believe what August (and Henry) have said.

I loved the look August had when he saw his father in Mr. Gold's shop and I loved that he went to work with his father and said he "just wanted to fix things." So sad but heart-warming too.

Latest from Kristin: Henry’s Fate

So excited for last few episodes of Once Upon a Time! Anything you can tell us?

Regina is up to her old apple tricks again, setting her sights on one target in particular. Alas, things don’t go according to plan (do they ever on TV?), and Henry may just end up being collateral damage. We’re sure you’re now asking yourselves, “Would Once really kill him off? He’s just a kid!” We’ll just tell you this: Things are about to get dark.

Wonder if this spoiler has anything to do with the spoiler about an upcoming death that they said would shock us! :scratchin

It wouldn't surprise me. For one in the "previews" last night one of the things they flash up was Henry falling to the ground in the same way Snow White did with an apple. I thought I saw an apple roll away from Henry, but can't be sure. Also LOST got rid of Walt pretty quickly because the time passage in the series was slower than the real world, and unfortunately you can't keep kids from growing. Henry dying or disappearing would be on way to deal with the fact the actor's growth will outpace the character on the show's, and to could serve to move Emma toward accepting her destiny.

I hope it doesn't happen though. I really like Henry.

I would not be able to watch it anymore if they killed Henry. :worried:I can say that I enjoyed not being shocked every 10 minutes during last night's episode, it was nice to just enjoy the raw emotions and story without trying to figure out a big mystery the whole time. :goodvibes

Henry may not be able to return to FL when the curse if broken, as he was never from there. How could they leave him behind? Maybe the apple curse will make him part of the "magical" world.

Killing off Henry would make sense from Regina's evil plan sort of view.

The only reason Emma is staying in Storybook is because of him. She leaves and Regina no longer has competition or someone trying to beat her.
