Has anyone figured out who Regina's mom is yet?

I don't think Daniel is alive anywhere. His heart was taken out and crushed to dust. Just like what Regina did to the sheriff's.

IMHO Regina took Katherine's heart b/c Katherine was leaving SB and Regina did not want Katherine to leave.

This epidsode was so contrived! Snow was a child, the mother tricked her into telling the secret. Easier for Regina to hate Snow than her own mother, who was very evil. Is that called transference? If this episode was suppose to make us feel sympathy for Regina than I think it failed miserably.

Having MM talk to the DA (another Lost alumni) was just dumb, Emma should have known than that Gold was up to no good. I knew that Catherine was going to show up, they need MM in the story, and this will also let Regina off the hook.

I am becoming bored with this show. My husband still wants to watch but I don't know how long I will continue to watch with him.

the actress the hired for young Snow was perfectly cast in looks and mannerisms of Ginnifer Goodwin~ so much so that I wish they had hired as well a match to be a younger Regina..the age difference really showed, I mean, c'mon....she was only supposed to be like 8 or 10 years older than Snow?
Not sure how they will explain the medical match on the heart for Katherine, probably say that the report was tampered with since Katherine is obviously alive ( tho not well, apparently) Either Gold brought her back or August may have had something to do with it...hmmmm we will see.

I have to agree, I didn't care for this episode. I didn't see the connection or love between Regina and Daniel. I also didn't think see a connection or motherly relationship between Regina and young Snow. Was she supposed to be a sweet character that tugged at our hearts and then turned evil when Snow betrayed her? If so, that transition wasn't well done.

So, obviously Regina marries the King, kills him and then goes after Snow before she takes her father's heart to create the curse to get back at Snow. What happened to her mom? Does Regina kill her too? And when did Regina get her power - when she became evil?

My guess is that she gets her mothers power when she kills her...that's how rumple got power, by killing someone with it.

I agree, and with the preview for the next episode showing Rumple's dagger, I think that that is what they were trying to imply.

Was the young Snow White an actual actress? Because at times DH and I both thought they had used special effects to "de-age" (youthen/youngify? ) the adult Snow White actress. Even the voice seemed like the adult voice, only made younger.

Regina turned evil the minute she found out how her Mother found out about Daniel- you could see her face change..... she's a great actress!

Although I still love the show, and I enjoyed the show last night, I was disappointed in the 'big reveal' of why Regina hates Snow so much. I also didn't really like the scene where MM is being asked questions by the DA. Dumb.

But that isn't enough for me to get bored or give up on this show!

I actually loved this episode. I love all the surprises each week. katherine is alive! Didn't see that coming. And the actress who played young Snow...Bailee Madison....PERFECT casting. It was uncanny how much she resembles Ginnfer Goodwin and had all the mannerisms down.

I said the same thing. That little girl had all the mannerisms and tones down pat.

As for the heart, I'm not sure how they'll explain it. But if Katherine starts showing no signs of emotions, I think we can figure out how her heart got there.

OK here's a theory...
When Regina goes to see the Mad Hatter in FTL she asks him to use his hat again. During last night episode Regina tells Daniel something about how much her mother like tea. What if Regina somehow had the MH send her Mom to Wonderland (she becomes the Queen of Heart)...we know he can already remove people's hearts. The only problem is that her father went too to she had to go and save him.
