Once Upon A Time

I was thinking with the veil and especially with the pipe thing through which she talked that she didn't have a head herself. Could explain why she's always after other people's heads, lol.

You could see her hair though.

I thought perhaps it could be Katherine, but then I noticed she had dark hair.

OMG favorite episode ever! I'm totally in love with Jefferson! I can't wait to find out who the queen is and maybe meet Alice? Love love love!! (It helps that I LOVE Alice in Wonderland.) :teeth:

Did anyone noitice the 2 mantle decorations on Jeffersons fireplace in his mansion in Storybrooke? They were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, lol. They were lime green eggs in what resembled candlestick holders, only they were really legs like the twins, in the familiar pose. I thought that was awesome. Also, , when MM is back in jail she is reading a newspaper and the headline is HEARTBREAKING, very appropriate. Just above it tho, is an ad that says "destination" and it is a picture of what looks like Jasmine's castle from Aladdin. I hope it is an upcoming episode. Loved this episode, hope the next is just as good!

Finally caught up and wow what a cool episode. Never expected AIW theme to show up. Not really a fairy tale in Grimm's Book I do not think. Nice job to the TV writers.

The poor mad hatter, really puts a twist to it.

I'm going to watch it again today to see the mantle decorations! :)

But I believe the newspaper said "Heartless!" regarding MM being accussed of murder, but I'll watch again to see!

LOVE this show!

you are right, it was "heartless" which I did see, thought it was perfect, and then typed Heartbroken...must've been a Freudian connected to MM and David, lol.
I would totally buy the Tweedle decorations( if I had the $) if I saw them, especially with Easter soon. Lime green to boot, that was just icing on the cake!:thumbsup2
Check to paper for the building in the "destinations" ad, it was at the top of the paper. There was also a photo of a young girl to the side, I think it said something about spelling contest...but I was wondering if it was Grace/Paige in the picture. MM was holding the paper up for a few seconds so I kinda saw it, but grainy.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the Queen of Hearts! Just because we see hair behind the veil, doesn't mean there's an actual head.

I do like the idea of the Queen of Hearts being Regina's twin though, because she certainly sounded like her.

I thought the photo of the girl was Grace/Paige as well.

What about Jefferson's home in FT land? They panned to his counter which had what looked like a ceramic teapot, maybe some berries and a candlestick???? I couldn't tell what it was on his counter and why they panned and then paused on it.

Also, in Jefferson's home in FT land, he had an electric guitar and a cello. Any significance to those?

As far as the guitar, I honestly thought of the band, Jefferson Starship,,,in which Grace Slick sang "White Rabbit". The cello, not so sure of...unless it was a large/small type thing. I did notice the camera angle from under the table when Emma was passing out from the tea...and then when she was cutting herself free using the smashed tea cup...kinda like making her look large like Alice. I just loved the whole episode.

It's a string bass, not a cello. Not sure it makes a difference, but there you go.

Just rewatched ... Do you notice a recurring theme with tea/coffee cups and breaking them?

Just a minor correction. It was Jefferson Airplane that sang White Rabbit. Jefferson Starship was a spin off of the original band after the Airplane disbanded.

DH kept humming or singing "White Rabbit" the entire episode! He kept saying something about Jefferson Airplane showing up - I was ignoring him. :rotfl: Great episode though!

all I can come up with is kinda generic/ breaking stuff, like the curse?:confused3

You guys are right w/Airship...whups!:flower3:

It does seem very Usual Suspects, doesn't it?
And without giving away one of the biggesg movie spoilers ever, suffice it to easy the the coffee cup was dropped when the character put all the pieces together and realized the truth too late. ;)

I was wondering the same thing! I've been meaning to rewatch the episode and haven't had the chance yet. They obviously panned to that table for a reason... just what was it that we were supposed to notice?!

not sure if this is the same scene, but some stuff at his SB mansion looks very similar to the stuff in his FTL cottage...

btw here is link to the tweedle dee mantle pieces

I noticed a lot of reflections in Jefferson's mansion. Reflection on the silver teapot, reflection on the piano, etc. Every time they showed a reflection, I thought of Sydney Glass. Isn't he supposed to see all reflections?

That's interesting, and very Alice and the Looking Glass -- even the newspaper is called the "Storybrooke Mirror."

I should have said that he was able to see through all reflections.

Sydney is the editor of the Mirror.
