Once Upon A Time

I wish we knew more about the sequence of events. The Mad Hatter could have made it out of Wonderland by the time the curse was enacted....and if he did get back home, to whichever land it may be, does that mean he can get back to Storybrook and rescue his daughter? or assist Emma and continue to convince her of the magic? Might be interesting!

I sure hope Gold is not helping Regina, but thwarting her instead! Maybe Gold wanted MM to get kidnapped by Jefferson.....knowing Emma might look for her....thus Jefferson kidnapping Emma....and Emma being exposed to Jefferson and his memories????? You never know with this show!

I was thinking about the curse this morning while rewatching the episode. The curse was to prevent anyone in Fairytale land from having a happy ending right? Well the people who seem to remember the curse all did not have a happy ending that needed to be taken away. Jefferson was seperated from his daughter, Belle was heartbroken, Rumple had lost his son and was trapped in jail, and of course Regina. So maybe they are cursed to remember? I do not know just something I was thinking about.

I think it was mentioned he is helping her as a favor. There will be a price to pay for his help. He doesn't take sides. He is on his own side and will help those who are willing to pay the price. I still think the whole thing will blow up in Reginas face eventually.

That makes a lot of sense. How can a curse take away something you never had in the first place? There were a few other characters who weren't happy either but they weren't quite as unhappy as those four. Grumpy and Red come to mind. Maybe they will be the next characters to begin to remember.

Interesting that those who remember are somewhat imprisoned. Jefferson said that he was trapped in his house but, obviously, he was able to get out to kidnap MM and jump in front of Emma's car.
?

I am pretty sure that Jefferson told Emma he was trapped in the house until she showed up in town.:)

You're right, he said something like that. I wonder if Emma being back in town will help Belle to get out of the hospital basement. It would be cool if that is what Mr. Gold called upon as his favor from Emma.

That's what I heard, too.

thank you!:) I thought so, but wasn't 100% sure.

also, something was mentioned earlier about wondering if the Queen of Hearts was Rumple.....I don't think we are meant to assume it is anyone other than the Queen. On IMDB, there is an actress credited with playing the part. We simply didn't see her face.:)

While watching the latest episode, I gasped when I saw the Queen of Heart's boxes of hearts... are these the same boxes that Regina keeps her hearts in?

Also, I realize this has nothing to do with it, but the scene where the Mad Hatter took Regina to Wonderland reminded me so much of the scene in The Nightmare before Christmas where Jack finds Christmastown!

And just who is the Queen of Hearts? We didn't get to see her face for a reason...it would have been far too easy for them to cast the part if it wasn't meant to be kept a secret.

I don't think they are the same exact boxes I just think each Queen has her own collection. They do look a like though. Maybe Regina learned it from the Queen of Hearts. It makes more sense with her name that collecting hearts would be her thing. I think they are building up the anticipation of seeing the Queen of Hearts. Maybe we already know her from Storybrook.

Now that you mentioned it I see the simularity to Nightmare before Christmas.

Did anyone else wonder, even for a second, if the Queen of Hearts could be Regina's mother?

My inclination is to say no. They operate in two different fantasy worlds. Also, Jefferson warned Regina to stay away from the walls. Wouldn't she know that? However, the queen was upset that Regina was called "Queen."

I am very curious about Jefferson's backstory. Who is Grace's mom? What was his relationship with Regina?

On top of that, he told Emma that he was saving MM since no one could leave Storybrooke.

I wondered that as well, particularly since Regina rescued her father from her. It's a different actress from the one they've announced for her mother. I was actually wondering whether she's got a sister ... a bit of Wizard of Oz there?

I think it makes sense that the Queen of Hearts is Regina mother too. After all when Jefferson said "do you know what she does to people that cross her" Regina answers "Indeed, better than most" Regina also mentioned that if the Hatter really loved his daughter he wouldn't have left her. Which lead me to think that her mother left her to be Queen in Wonderland. After all isn't always the mothers fault when kids go bad ;)

I've been thinking about this, and I think you might be right... It would only make sense that the Queen of Hearts was Regina's sister...and even better, what if it was her twin sister?

:thumbsup2

Siblings would fight over their father's attention.

I like all of these theories. :thumbsup2

I thought of her being Regina's Mother too but then she has a husband who is not Regina's father and I know people can remarry but to me the sister idea makes a lot of sense too. That could even explain why she wanted Henry's "heart" for her own collection.

I absolutely LOVE this series. There's always hidden messages in each episode! :thumbsup2

O I really thought that when MM and Emma held hands at the end of the show that it would cause them to remember something from the past. Especially after Emma said that she considers MM her family... ;)

That was a cool part...it's like she's really starting to believe and slipped and said "family". Part of her wants to hold back and be sceptical but then we saw it again when she had Henry's book. She's opening her mind and starting to believe.

::yes:: I agree.

I was thinking with the veil and especially with the pipe thing through which she talked that she didn't have a head herself. Could explain why she's always after other people's heads, lol.
