So, does Emma still owe Rumplestilskin, because he gave Cinderella her baby back? Something tells me that the only thing that would matter to her is Henry. So, what will he demand of her with respect to Henry? Anyone have any thoughts?

Yes, it shows how strong the bond between JC and Geppetto is. They've been together for a long time. I was setting myself up for the little boy being Pinocchio so I got goosebumps when we learned it was Geppetto.:goodvibes

I thought the same thing until tonight when it came together for me, but with the way this show keeps you guessing I was questioning myself.

Oh yes, she still owes Rumplestilskin and I am also afraid that it will have something to do with saving Henry.

I thought I caught something last night so I looked it up and I'm thrilled to be right! The candy bar Jimminy Cricket brought down into the mine is the brand found in the underground hatch on Lost!

None of my family members watched Lost with me so when I yelled "that's the candy bar from Lost!" they thought I was nuts. :rotfl:

Oh man, you ARE good!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:worship: I watched LOST and didn't catch that...this is so fun!:yay:

After last night I am sure Regina knows what is going on. I am surprised she allowed the explosion though, even to save Henry. Figured she wouldnt take the chance of anything being seen. Did she know the coffin was in there?
I thought the explosion was ridiculous. Who would set off an explosion at a mine that was starting to colapse? In real life, that never would have happened. I guess I'm just being too technical. Without it, a piece of the coffin would have never been found on the surface for Regina to find.

I, too, thought it was crazy to rig the explosion while Henry and Dr. Hopper were in the mine. But.....didn't Regina find the piece of glass when she first arrived at the mine, before they set off the explosion? I figured that was one of the reasons she told them to blow it up and pave it over, esp. once we saw Snow White's coffin down the mine shaft. Regina/EQ wanted to get rid of it so no one could find it, and she didn't care if Henry and Dr. Hopper were down there. She claims to love Henry, but I think she loves her power more; after all, she killed her father to make the curse work, so even though she loves Henry, she's not above abandoning him in order to keep her power. :confused3

OK, just have to throw this out there although it seems totally implausible....Is Henry Pinocchio? He is seeing JC as his therapist aka his guide more or less.

But that does not fit with the story of Henry being the child of Emma.

Who is Henry and why doesn't he know who he is?:lmao:

I kept trying to see what candy bar it was, but never got a good enough view! Nice work! That's great!

You aren't the only one! How did they know that Henry wasn't right behind the entrance when they blasted. Surely they would have first called out the engineers with the surveys, and known about the elevator shaft before they decided to blast. Oops, I guess Regina forgot to turn anyone into a structural engineer! That was one of those "suspend disbelief" moments of television!

You are correct. She found to glass at the beginning, and Henry saw her slip it into her pocket. I thought it was odd that Henry and Dr. Hopper left their therapy session to go to the disaster zone.
I thought about the sheriff's words, "If you want to be a part of this community": that is what opened up the "portal" to Fairytale land.

I don't know what happened to Pinocchio, and it made me kind of sad a few weeks ago when they said that Marco never had kids... like poor little Pinocchio got zapped from the world quicker that Cinderella's fairy godmother.
But it kind of makes sense: Henry might notice if there were children in his class that never grew up!
But while we are on the subject of Pinocchio, did anyone notice the STRIKING resemblance between Pinocchio in the pilot episode (at the council, and later helping Giapetto make the wardrobe) and young Jiminy? I looked it up to make sure they weren't the same actor!

Exactly what I was thinking...that she could have cared less if they were hurt, just had to cover her Evil you-know-what...especially AFTER the blast when Emma went racing over and the Mayor/EQ stayed put. I think she does love Henry but as you said, not unconditionally and certainly not at the expense of her power. She said something to her Dad about "They will all laugh at me" if she didn't stay powerful back in Fairy-Tale land, guess she must feel the same in StoryBrooke

In reference to the part I bolded, how does it work with the other kids in Storeybrook? Are they all from the fairytale land and so they don't age? They couldn't have been born by the fairytale characters in storeybrooke because time is basically at a standstill and they don't age so I wouldn't think that a pregnancy would either. Henry coming from the outside would definitely notice the kids not aging in the years that he has been there and has grown. And eventually wouldn't he be older then Regina and the other adults in Storeybrooke?

To me the piece that Regina threw down the well is the same piece from Snow white casket. I just don't see that

Just watched last Sunday's episode. Loved it!

Regina picked up the piece of Snow's casket after she gave the speech about blowing up and paving over the mine. Don't know if the timing is important or not. I wonder what the significance of her throwing the piece back into the mine.

I loved Jiminy's back story as well. He was really struggling with his conscience. Loved how he stood up to Regina, even though stooping to her level of blackmail to do it.

Henry ran out of the session when Dr. Hopper told him he had to stop believing in the fairy tale. Dr. Hopper didn't show up at the mine until after they realized Henry was missing. He remembered seeing the flashlight in his backpack. So, Henry had to have seen Regina with the piece of coffin after Emma rescued him from the mine.

No, it was before... When the explosion first happened, Henry was with the Dr.
As Regina was telling the townsfolk that she was going to pave over the old mines, they run up and Henry starts accusing her of hiding something...then when she slips the glass into her pocket, he asks what it was, she tells him to wait in the car. (which of course he doesn't. She must be the worst parent ever for never checking to make sure he is doing what he is supposed to be doing. Every week the storyline revolves around, "My mom thinks I am somewhere else..." )
Then Regina told Dr. Hopper to make Henry forget about the fairy tale stuff, because she couldn't even look out for public safety without being accused of a cover up. Then they had the bad session, Henry stormed out, etc.

Anyway, it just seemed odd to me that you run out of a therapy session and take your minor patient to a potential disaster scene.

I know we saw Maleficent (sp?) in at least one episode, does anyone know who she is in Storybrook yet?

Loving this show!

thanks for all the references to Lost. I never watched that show but always wanted to, so I think it is neat that they have cross-over...makes me want to go back and watch Lost now.

Great call on Pongo...I obviously wasn't paying attn b/c I don't recall hearing that name...next time I'm telling everyone to 'be quiet' while I'm watching.:rotfl:

I was guessing mirror in the cave but the coffin makes a lot more sense and thanks to PP for posting the pics of the piece and the coffin.

So glad they showed us the back story of teh dolls. We all were wondering on that a few weeks ago.

I love how the therapist stood up to EQ ... was very smart and crafty ... too bad he couldn't stand up to mom & dad long ago, but that explains how he became Jiminy. Love all the umbrellas last night!

I believe she was a one time appearance. The actress who plays her, Kristin Bauer (Pam on True Blood) is only listed in IMDB as appearing in one episode.

I'm joining in! popcorn::

Between last night & this morning, I have read this entire thread. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's theories about different characters. Also, I'm a Lost fan, so thank you to everyone whose been pointing out the Lost references. I've realized I really need to stop multi-tasking while I watch this show & just sit down & pay attention!

This is quickly becoming my favorite show on TV. There are so many shows I watch on Sunday - I am beyond thankful for my DVR!

I just read on a blog that the little boy who gave Jiminy the umbrella is the son of the couple who turned into the dolls. I hadn't picked up on that detail.
