I just read on a blog that the little boy who gave Jiminy the umbrella is the son of the couple who turned into the dolls. I hadn't picked up on that detail.

Yes, and the Blue Fairy told JC to watch over the boy and guide him to do the right thing. This is how JC can help him for what happened to the boys parents. Jimmy said "I don't know his name" and the Blue Fairy told him that the boys name is Geppetto. Then she turned him into a cricket. I loved that part!

I loved that part, too! I was expecting the boy to be Pinnochio. But this works. It totally explains how and why Geppetto goes on to make marionettes and yearn for family, a son.

Neat ending with Snow White's coffin down the shaft!!!

WHen they looked down the shaft, it brought back memories of LOST when Locke opened the door to the tunnels.

Ohhh, we were trying to figure out what the pieces belonged to.

I was thinking that when Emma put on the badge she opened up the mine shaft that belonged to the dwarfs. To me it made sense to see the coffin at the bottom. I immediately thought coffin when I saw the end.

Emma being Snow White's daughter, it was great that she was the one that broke open the mines. I sure hope we get to see more of the mine shaft or that someone figures out what it could be.

OK, I'm so glad that I found this thread. The opening of the dwarfs mine makes total sense (I wasn't even thinking about the dwarfs).

Our family has really been enjoying this show. It is the first one in a while that all 4 of us like to watch together.

It makes sense that it was the coffin. When I saw the mine, I was reminded of the dwarfs in the movie. They mined for precious jewels. I almost expected to see one of them down there LOL!!.

For those of you that are GH fans, did you notice that the Dr's mother in fairytale land is Diane from GH? I was wondering why she was leaving the show. This must be her new gig.

I absolutely love this show. If ABC cancels this one, I'm boycotting Disney!!!

Yes, chuckled over Diane being on there. Hey, good for her, she's not getting a lot of air time over at GH right now. Oh wait, I didn't realize she was leaving....that's a shame. Diane is great.

They were turned to dolls in the fairy tale. They're dolls in Storybrooke. So I guess they are there. That's the way I take it.

I saw that episode and remember seeing them, I mixed up whose parents they were. Wasn't Blue Fairy done away with by Rumple?

That was Cinderellas Fairy Godmother. I don't think she was the same as the Blue Fairy.

I love this show and want to join in the fun. I got a very big Fox and Cat vibe from Jiminy's parents, with the dad being the Fox and the mom the Cat. I think somehow they turn into them. Both the the parents and the Fox and Cat are cons. The dad was tall and lean, with facial hair and a hat that reminded me of the Fox and the mom's hairstyle kind of resembled ears. She also had dark glasses on, which in the book, the Cat pretends to be blind.

I can't believe I didn't pick up on Snow's coffin. I thought it was a piece of the castle. Good catch!

It really is awesome being able to look forward to Sunday nights watching TV as a family again

As soon as I got home last night I gathered them all up and told them about Snow White's coffin (the pieces of glass) and there was a collective "ahhhhhh" from everyone My DD wanted to know how I figured it out and I had to say "well, from the disboards, of course"

I do love how the show makes you really think. My DH is actually the one in the family that loves trivia. He is constantly keeping us entertained in the lines at DL with Disney trivia questions. I'm guessing that has something to do with why he is enjoying the show with us

I thought the same exact thing. The Mom has that red hair styled into little buns (ears) on the top of her head.

There's an article in this week's TV Guide about Claire, I mean Emile de Ravine playing Belle. There's a picture of her in Belle's gown and they said that her father, Gaston and the Beast would all be a part of it. They're also intending to do and Aladdin episode sometime in the future.

Great Observation. I couldn't think of who JC parents could be but that's exactly who they are. I love this show.
