How do the crowds compare for these two shows? Is it as necessary to be there well in advance for Once? Did you like one better than another?

If OUAT is before the fireworks, then there will be a crowd already gathered. If OUAT is after HEA, then it does clear out considerably. You should be able to get an excellent spot right before showtime.

I do like OUAT, but it is nowhere near as good as HEA. It is almost entirely projections with a couple moments of pyro. Since I’ve seen it already, I don’t plan my schedule around it, but if it works out to be in front of the castle then, I’ll stop for it.

Yeah, OUAT is usually after HEA now (which is weird). Once HEA ends many people will clear out and you can move closer. It's better to be closer to that show since there are no fireworks (but not so close that you can't see the entire castle). I don't think many people plan around watching it. A lot of people will just be walking through the hub and stop to watch OUAT when it starts.
