Once upon a time - questions

I have a dinner reservation for CRT at 5:30 on a night when HEA is at 8:00 and OUaT is 8:45.

My plan is to watch HEA from somewhere not far from the castle. I really want to focus on the actual fireworks. We had a spot on view of the castle projections last time. This will be only our second time viewing.

My question. I have never seen OUaT. Should I be more concerned about securing a good spot for this and where would you suggest.

Next question. I have an 8:30 - 9:00 fast Pass for SDMT. (It’s an EMH night - we have access to this). Should I forget about the FP since my priority is OUAT?

Just me and my husband. We have been on it. Got the FP when Park hours changed.

I love OUaT! It’s a projection show, so if you have a good view of the HEA projections you should be in a good spot for OUaT. I’ve found that some people aren’t aware of this show, and leave after HEA. It seemed less crowded then HEA when we were there last. I think it was about 20 mins long

In my experience you can pretty much walk right up to OUAT and get a fine spot. When it’s after HEA, it’s sort of an after-thought (and some people don’t even know what’s going on).

I guess you ‘could’ hit your 7DMT FP at 8:25 (5 minute early window), hope it’s quick, then quickly RUN around to the front of the castle for 8:45 - but that is VERY tight and won’t work if the FP line were to be long. It’d be too much rushing/worrying for me, and probably not possible.

Also just FYI, they recently moved the 8PM HEA times on the calendar to 7:55PM.

Thanks! I did not know about this. We were at a desert party in October. Perfect view. If I had known I would have hung around.

In a strange way it is kind of nice to still learn new things after all these years of Disney :)

Thanks. Nothing is quick for us :)

Think I will end up canceling the FP
