Love to be ahead of the game........almost done with the FE's!!! I even started labeling hopefully there won't be any changes. One more gift to go for a special someone and then I can ship the goodies to my DVC home.

I went Saturday to pick up some stuff and found out the store doesn't carry it anymore. Ugh. I have a back-up plan though!

I also placed an order this morning for some other goodies. Slowly but surely it is getting done. Now I just have to finish my FE...

Happy Monday --> in 7 weeks I'll be at WDW!

We are not staying at our home resort before the cruise but another DVC report. Have you shipped to DVC before? How far in advance do you ship your package(s)? When are they delivered to the room?

I have some awesome news this morning everyone! We got our first resort upgrade! I have been calling for weeks trying to get a pin for our upcoming trip. This morning I got upgraded to Carribean Beach Club resort! The room are POTC themed! This will be our first MOD stay

Thanks! I am obsessing over the new hotel all ready lol!

I am done with 3 handmade gifts, have some goody bags made, but am waiting for my refund on my Cricut machine so I can go buy a new one. I was really counting on it to personalize gifts.

I ordered some t-shirt iron on transfers so I can make t-shirts for my family. I made tye dyed ones for the park. They turned out ok. Some magnetic paper was in that auction also so I can make some of my magnets. I still have some of the magnets from last cruise.

There is one more thing I am wating on that I ordered to put in the FE's but you'll have to wait to see what it is

I will probably allow for a week early. Haven't shipped before or called yet but I am sure once it arrives they can put it in holding. When we leave BLT for the cruise I am going to have the resort hold my double stroller for when we return for the extended stay.

Jo-Ann fabiric had a 90 percent clearance of their summer goods. That might be a good place to look too. And I don't know if anyone got this yet but the dollar dry erase boards at Target are a good gift so we can all leave notes for eachother.

I slept through the whole earthquake.(but we are far away in WI)

I took a nap this afternoon. I had one of those weird dreams about the ship. Last time I cruised I dreamed the washers overflowed with soap like that episode of the "Brady Bunch." This time I dreamed I was left on Nassau but it kind of looked like Hawaii... anyhoo! This concludes my therapy session lol!

I didn't but Tara (TaraNAllan) live only about 20-30 miles from the epicenter and her house was rockin and rolling today. She and her DD were hiding under the dining room table. I grew up in the DC area and still have plenty of family and friends there. All are ok-some with damage to their homes though. Sounds like it was a pretty scary experience.

Ok, here I am to mess up everyone's FE maps and lists. I changed rooms today. I had read so many negative things about the noise in the Deck 5 Aft rooms-being over Evolution- that I called DCL today to see what, if anything, had been done about the reported noise and they immediately moved me to Deck 6-room 6668. So, I guess that is the answer-they move you.

I am in the yellow group and am now in room 6668. Sorry-I don't think it will mess things up too bad since there is another room on deck 6 too.

Good! So glad to hear it was positive!

Everything I was reading on that Deck 5 room was very negative-even found threads about how loud the rooms were and with a 9 yr old and a DH who is a light sleeper-I was really worried. Thankfully, this new room gets very good marks. Whew.

I would say if you are worried about it I would call DCL and tell them your concerns. They seemed pretty clued into the issue when I called b/c they immediately told me they would move me. I think they realize that some rooms just aren't gonna work for certain families. The loud bass rattling the room until 2am wasn't gonna do it for us. LOL

This is where we were also. I moved us to forward, under the spa. I'm at the gym every morning anyway so now I won't have very far to go. Better to be near the gym than the food.
