Southwest is open today for booking in October. I am checking the dates. It looks less to fly in and out on a sat for us which kind of messes with my dates now.

WOW! Thats totally the opposite way round for us - we have to pay a high premium to fly on a Fri Sat and Sunday!

It costs us about $600 more to fly over the weekend!

We can still fly out on Friday but not as late as I was wanting too. I might have to pull them out of school 1 more day (I am such a horrible mom).

Our plan is to do Universal on the 15th so that might be the plan. however we are def going to fly home on the next sat. Flights home are $100 more on Sunday per person.

my southwest dates are too pricey to book yet...now i will wait for an airtran or delta sale :) Southwest is $160 each way, that is what I usually pay for roundtrip. I know airfare is up, but I will wait until it hits around $250 to book.

I am going to wait for the summer sales. I learned the hard way on our second cruise I booked too early and the airfare went on sale. I could have saved over $500. We are leaving on a Wednesday and coming back on a Thursday.

I go today to chck the Southwest flights again and the sat cheaper prices are already sold out which to me is nuts!! I guess I will keep watching. I do not know how they could sell out that quick.

WOW! I guess I should feel lucky that we are close enough to drive!!!

It's been such a long week... anyone working on a time machine to October :goodvibes?

Were 17 hours out but the wife will NOT fly:scared1: We have been to Disney World and or the cruise over 15 times and have drove everytime:eek: I keep saying after the first 4 hours on the road we could have been there by now if we have flew and were just half way through West Virgina:headache:

I hope everyone is doing well! I have been busy with work :) Also I have been writing my foodblog

My 180 day window for booking dinner ressies at WDW is fastly approaching. (April 15th) This is my list so far:

October 12th: In MCO Nathan's hotdogs. Run to the ME. We have never gotten to Pop before 3 so once we drop everyhing off we are headed to DTD and Wolfgang Puck Express, Goofy's.. and someother places.

October 13: QS breakfast at POP Dinner at Kona or Cape May then the MNSSHP at 4, grazing around the park including the Dole whip

October 14: AK Tusker House for breakfast maybe skip lunch and Flame tree for dinner

October 15: HS hoping Fantasmic shows today the calendar isn't out that far yet! Breakfast Starring Rolls, Lunch at Psy-fy dinner with the Fantasmic Dinner package and Mama Melrose, turkey leg
October 16: QS breakfast at Pop and on the way to port stopping off at a grocery store to liquer up

I do not think we are doing any ADR this time. We will probably just do mostly quick service. We are just doing 2 days at Disney, one at MK and one at Animal Kingdom. Then 1 at Universal.

LOL! We're a (now retired) military family so we used to drive. We would combine going to WDW with moving to our next post. However, now that DH has joined the "real" world and has limited vacation time flying is the only option. It sure has upped the travel budget though. :scared1:

I am so jealous that you have this much planning done. I really think planning is my favorite part of a vacation sometimes...Anyway, I'm still waiting on so many other things that I can't even begin to figure out ADRs yet.

Hope you all have a blessed Sunday!

Wife will fly but only non-stop. We have driven down the last 3 years, due to airfare and luggage costs for traveling with a 1, 2, and 3 year old respectively. I didn't mind the drive, until we sat on the WV turnpike for over 3.5 hours:headache: last year due to an accident that closed down the road. During that wait wife and I decided from now on we will be flying. 2.5 hours and we are there.:cool1: not 14.

I am sorry for the delay. I hope all is well with everybody. This is the last week of the 30's.

Don't remember if I posted this already? Booked our Universal Package last week 2 nights at Holiday Inn Maingate with 1 day universal ticket. So excited to be getting in one hour early, especially since we are going to the park on a Saturday. I was surprised that booking the package really did take a lot off of the hotel price. We got 2 nights of hotel for $160 total where on thier website and others a room is going for $117 a night.

I have also been doing a lot of research of Blue Lagoon Beach Day! I thought we would stay on the ship, but I dont want to pass up beach time, especially during such a nice time of year weather wise. Anybody else doing beach day/dolphin swim?
