Once again

My school was going to have a shoot out. We had like 34209375 cops, helecopters, and the news crew.
My school has A LOT of gangs and one of the gang members that goes to my school was shot yesterday so there was going to be a gang war today.
Luckily the kids with the guns were arrested.
Isn't that horrible? I hate my school

Does stuff like this happen at your schools?

We have a lot of gangs around here coming in from NYC. At my high school, there's frequent fights,bomb threats,stabbings,you name it we got it.

And 2 days away from the anniversary of VT. How sad.

friday four guys were arrested for blowing up the local VFW building.
there are some guys that want to beat this other kid up...with a brick orsomething.

some of hte guys in our *gangs* shoot eachother all of the time with airsoft guns, but they all get bloody froom the little things that get shot out.

but thats bad.

well not anymore since the last bunch of bad kids left, but last year someone called in a bomb threat, and we had police officers come and the bomb dog flown in the dog didnt smell anything bc he was only trained to smell live bombs but he did catch a few druggies. they made us do a pocket and bookbag check @_@ finally they found something like six shells. idk exactly what they were, but it was immensely stupid.

My school doesn't really have any gangs, or anything like that.
About once a year there's a bomb threat, but it's always fake, just some kid who wants to get out of doing midterms or something like that.

You'd think there'd be gangs here, since I live within twenty miles of a couple of cities, but it's really sheltered and safe here.

It's been getting better.
We've only had one bomb threat this year.
Last year we had around 4. All fake though.
But I don't think we've ever had anything dealing with guns or shooting though luckily.

Glad everything turned out alright.

i liv in SE minnesota, and we have 4 high schools in our city, and i go to the rich kid school, and there is the private school, and the sl*t school, and the gang school, and i cant go to football games against them, because there have been stabbings in the past, but no one died because we have Mayo Health Clinic on our side.

last year, it was god awful. we've had it happen once this year. it'll probably happen again before graduation. we've had probably sixty serious (one party expelled) fights this semester, and more than that last semester. its crazy at my school.

But there are some gangs around here, but they're hidden real well.

Gangs aren't really prominent here.
Sure, they'll beat each other up and stuff, but guns and stuff like that aren't around really.

I think last year, or the year before a kid stabbed another kid with a pen.
And when I was in grade 5, at the bus stop that either I used to take earlier this year, or the one I take now, that bus had a stabbing on it.
No dying though. Just expulsion.

Not at all. At a school with a population of 193, I highly doubt there are people in my school affiliated with any gangs.

Luckily no. We don't have problem's with gangs in my school, and if their are gangs I don't really even know of them.

nope. my down is very sheltered. there's seriously no apartments in our town for under $1500 a month. and those are very badly taken care of. we have no bad neighborhoods. people say its because our living is so high here that gangs and such people cant afford to live here. although 20 miles away, where i used to live, its VERY different. child molesters, druggies, alcoholics, everything there just walking around! when i was in 5th grade (2 years ago) at that old school a person called the high school saying there was a bomb planted in the elementary school (where i was). but then the high school called the middle school , then they called my school. basically, we stayed on our playground all day (10am-3:30pm) while they searched our school. parents brought food for kids whos parents worked. since all of the police, firemen, and such were at my school, the same person that called the bombthreat, robbed a HUGE bank uptown, losing MILLIONS of dollars to the banks people. but there was no bomb in the school, so thats good!

Yep. I'm homeschooled for that reason, I got sick of it. They made clear backpacks mandatory because of the bomb threats and gun problem. The public school is way too crowded and half of the people are fighting with eachother. There are always fights and stupid people making stupid comments, so I've been private schooled most of my life, but this year just did homeschool. I'm not slamming public schools, just this one in particular I refuse to go to. When it gets to the point of clear backpacks and the entire junior class in portable trailers for classrooms, they need to build another school.

OMG! thats terrible! last year which was my freshman year in high school we had like 5 million lock downs, but because of some stupid bomb threats and then this year we've had two both because of drugs in the lockers and cars. Also the homecoming queen for this year had to give up her spot as that and was kicked off the pom squad. but your story is far worse, that's crazy!

And then next year I'm going to Catholic school. There's like, a high death rate there going to and from school, and some druggies, but there's that at every school.

there's no shootings or gangs or anything at my school. Most of the serious fights and such happen outside of school. We have a lot of drug issues though. I think like 4 people got charged/expelled this week for drugs.
