Once Again Concerned About My Size Being an Issue at WWOHP.

Hello! I'm a plus-sized lady and am going to Orlando in about a month. I have been two previous times. Both times, I had much anxiety beforehand regarding whether or not I would fit on the sides.
I can't remember my size the first time, but the second time (2013) I was a little bigger at 260lbs, and being a 2x top (42DD), and a 22/24 bottom. (I am 5'3"). However, I did not have an issue on any of the rides. Some were snug, but I believe the attendants automatically put me in the rows for modified seating (at least for dragon challenge). But, I fit on everything I rode.
Now I'm going back, and am worried again. Unfortunately I've gained a bit of weight since then, now being around 280lbs. I'm going to try and drop some weight by then, but I still anticipate being at least 270 when I go, and am concerned I won't fit in the rides, and i have no experience with Escape From Gringotts. Despite the weight gain, I still wear the same size in everything as last time, though I believe my butt/stomach/chest is probably where the weight went. Also, I'd say I'm fairly pear-shaped.
Any advice/suggestions? Being my size, will I automatically be directed to the modified seating, and do you think I will fit in it? Also, any suggestions for what to wear, to hopefully help with fitting? Both previous times I wore denim shorts, which I know usually aren't suggested because they don't have much give.

Many thanks in advance

Search this forum forum for "modifed seats". Three or four threads will show up with anecdotal and factual information about who fit in what seat. Many posters give their sizes and weights.

Yes.

Looser/non-restrivtive slippery clothing that lets the restraint squish you where the restraint needs to squish you. You don't want to wear tight clothing that squishes you up to right where the restraint would need some give.

I was just there and wasn't able to fit the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at IOA. I'm about 260 lbs and am 5'9". I didn't bother trying the one at Universal. I was able to fit into the Hulk with the modified seating.

OOoh - I never thought about not being able to fit! I carry my extra weight in my middle, and my husband is a big guy - 6'6, 300#. What rides might we need to worry about? Everything at WDW fits us just fine...

Thank you all for the information! I just wanted to post a brief update. At the time of going, I was the same size, and had not lost any weight. So I was around 280 or 285 lbs. I was really expecting not to ride Escape from Gringotts, nor FJ. On Gringotts, I was seated in the back row, andI became hesitant once I pulled down the bar and I saw how far up mine was compared to those next to me. I thought there waws no wayI was riding, and was just waiting for a TM to come and inform me. But no one did. We had the all clear, and I rode! For FJ, while going through the line a TM quietly and politely told me to take an end seat. I was already planning on it, as I'm familiar with the modified seating being on the ends. I sat and pulled the harness down as far as I could. The TM came over and said "Okay, we just need one more," and she pulled down slightly and it clicked. She asked if I was comfortable, I said yes, and I was able to ride. I was really surprised by getting to ride both, because by comparing myself to the size of all of the other riders in line, i was by far the biggest. it wasn't a good feeling, but I was super relieved by being able to ride.

Glad it worked out for you and you were able to do those rides
