Can the Onboard credit be used at Castaway Cay? Can Disney reward point cards be used on the ship or Castaway Cay? Thanks

You can take your Disney Rewards cards to Guest Services, and have them applied to your onboard account. Then you can use your KTTW card to spend the rewards dollars.

And as far as I know, you use your KTTW card on Castaway Cay, so your Onboard credit would be usable at Castaway Cay, also, via your KTTW card. I believe Onboard Credits are used up first, then any rewards dollars you put on your account.

Think of your onboard credit as a declining balance. Say you have $200 in onboard credit. Whatever you purchase first onboard will be deducted from the onboard credit. If you booked any excursions they will also be deducted from your onboard credit..basically anything you purchase will be deducted from the onboard credit and then when that is used up things are then charged to your onboard account. If you don't spend any of your onboard credit and you still have some by the time you get to Castaway Cay then your onboard credit will be used when you purchase something at CC.

It is not like you can earmark certain OBC to certain items.
