Unrelated to the room change but what is a lower school graduation?

At my school it is moving from Grade 5 to Grade 6. It's a moving up ceremony (graduation for 5th graders).

Interesting. When I was a kid, we had 8th grade and then 12th grade graduations. But obviously 12th was the only important one.
