I had read along time ago about onboard credit for our upcomming cruise Sept 14-21. I e-mailed and was told that we did get a credit of 150.00. Can anyone tell me when I get the info about this credit????? I got my documents a couple weeks ago and there was nothing in there about it. Do we get that information when we board the ship???? I just want to be prepared for the trip I still have the e-mail and will print it to take along if I should. Thanks for any help with this.

I called, insured I had it and didn't see anything else about it until I got my state room charges. They deducted my credit before giving me my final total. I never saw it written down anywhere.

We confirmed at check-in that our credit was there and, as someone else said, it was on our account summary.

Haven't they now done away with the on-board credit for returning cruisers?

I hope not, I e-mailed Disney Vacation Club that is where my credit is comming from.....It said we are getting 150.00 and it was with the Fall Special cruise in September. I cannot get more than 1 onboard credit, so I am assuming if you are a member of Disney Club, Castaway Club or whatever else they may have you can't take advantage of ALL of the Credits. This is our second cruise but we arn't getting any credit from Castaway Club. I am guessing we will be invited to attend the Castaway Club Reception and also the DVC Reception, heck if I know there is so much to know and keep track of my hair is on fire!!!!!!
Just looking forward to getting on that ship!!!!!!!!!!

The Castaway Club shipboard credit program has been discontinued. If you rebook while still on board your current cruise, they do offer a shipboard credit then. Unfortunately, this is not available at this time for DVC members wishing to rebook using points.

When we went our June 2001 cruise we also had a shipboard credit due to a promotion that DCL was having when we booked our cruise. The credit was never addressed in any documentation that we recieved which as a compulsive planner made me very nervous. But once we got on the boat there was a card in our room that told us we had a shipboard credit once we were done with the lifeboat drill I went down just to be safe and they confirmed that our credit was indeed there and in the correct amount. In fact we were travelling with a large group of 15 people and we all had credits to our rooms accounts and not one of us had a problem. All of us got the proper amount and it was there and ready to use once we boarded the boat.
