Onboard credit while not on board?

Has anyone been able to get the onboard credit if they booked right after they got back?

No, DCL is very strict about this. You must book your next cruise while onboard to get the Castaway Club credit.

One thing I found quite strange is a couple that came on the cruise with us booked a return cruise for themselves and also booked two additional rooms (one for each set of parents) and the parents rooms were given the return cruiser stateroom credit ($200) and they have never been on DCL before????

Hey I think it worked out great, but I think it was a bit strange.

If you could get someone to book for you (they would have to put down a deposit) then you too would be able to get the stateroom credit.

Just a thought.
