So I am looking to book a short cruise with my sister (who I don't live with.) This would be the first DCL for both of us to test the waters. We would share one stateroom. Assuming the Disney onboard booking and Dreams offers are exactly as they are today....
1. Does only the main person on the reservation have the opportunity at the OBB perks?
2. Can I book a specific date and her a placeholder cruise?
3. Can either of us book two rooms for our future cruise?
4. If we book with Dreams for this one could we BOTH do an onboard booking with Dreams listed as our TA?
5. If yes, are we both eligible for future ship credit from both Disney and Dreams?
6. If we book separate future cruises can she be added as a guest on mine and me on hers?
7. If either of us book two rooms, is the Disney and Dreams ship credit for each room or by reservation?
8. Can we both count our first cruise towards Castaway club?
Thanks!!!!!

Ok, I am going to try to answer these to the best of my abilities and if I am mistaken, I am relying on the fact that someone will correct me.

  1. I believe you can each book up to two future cruises, but you may need to show your IDs to demonstrate you live at separate addresses, especially if your last names are the same.
  2. It doesn't matter, you can book one as a place holder and one for a specific date and so can your sister
  3. Again as far as I am aware, you both can, see point number one
  4. Yes you can both list Dreams as your TA
  5. Yes you would get future credit, just know that their offer is lower for onboard bookings than it is for new bookings due to the lower commission they get from them.
  6. I am not sure about this if you both book two, if each are booking one then it wouldn't be a problem. The work around if you can't do it would probably be to book it without each other and add each other after getting on land or to simply book placeholders and then change it once on land.
  7. I believe it is by cabin, but I think you can only book one cabin per reservation unless you are already in multiple cabins, again I am not positive on that part though.
  8. And yes this cruise (unless you got certain discounted rates like a Press rate) will count as a cruise for both of you towards Castaway Club, reservations using the onboard booking discount still counts as well, it is just the things like press rates that are usually 80% or more off that don't count.
