I’ve seen several threads addressing the particulars of onboard bookings and their benefits, but I have a logistical question.
I’m sailing later this year with my family, and my sister is planning to take her family on their first Disney cruise. I always book a placeholder onboard for myself, and she would like me to book a second stateroom placeholder for her family. My question is - can I put my own name on one stateroom, and her name on the other one? Or do I need to put myself/my husband, and then we all just shuffle to the appropriate rooms once we’re onboard the ship?
In addition, would she be able to manage her own separate reservation, or would they both be on one reservation number? I don’t mind managing her reservation (and she’d probably appreciate the help, as a first timer) but I’d like to know what to expect.
Lastly, if we book two staterooms and she changes her mind, can I refund her stateroom deposit, without affecting my own?
Thanks in advance!
