Onboard app - show future cruises?

When we are onboard using the app, would my child be able to see a future (surprise) cruise that we have booked? It’s showing on my phone now, but I hear the app is completely different when on ship.

No, once onboard the app works differently and only shows things related to your current cruise. You do not log on to the app with your regular DCL log on. Only your room number, name and birthdate are needed.

Unless the onboard app has changed significantly since June, it shows only content related to the current cruise so your secret will be safe. The app is indeed completely different onboard (when it accessed by stateroom number, name, and birthdate) than it is before your cruise (when it is accessed by Disney online account or reservation number).
