We spent a week at Enchantment Resort with our 8 and 12 year old girls several years ago - not
Adventures by Disney.
Things we really enjoyed:
Take the Pink Jeep tour. It was amazing. NOTE: I JUST LOOKED AT THE
ABD ITINERARY, AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ALREADY GET A JEEP TOUR.
There are some really fun hiking trails with spectacular views from the Enchantment Resort.
There is some touristy type shopping in downtown Sedona. You can buy western wear, boots, hats, etc.
There was an outdoor ping pong table at Enchantment Resort that got a lot of use.
Some things that probably will not work for you:
We did a hot air balloon ride. This leaves super early in the morning and is done by noon.
There are some hiking trails that take you to Indian ruins and cave paintings (but I think you would need a car.)
There is a Shakespeare Festival in Sedona that is really great, but it would be unusual if the dates worked out for you, and it is at night.
We did a day trip to the Grand Canyon.
I am fuzzy on the restaurants.
Enchantment Resort started out as a high end tennis resort with great teaching pros, tennis clinics, etc. There are wonderful tennis courts. But then they realized that the wind through the canyon made playing tennis very difficult, so they had to go away from the tennis theme and make it a high end luxury resort. We loved it there.
Everywhere you look, you are in a John Wayne movie.
Sedona is a magical place. Enjoy!
