On your birthday, Piratesmate, TRUTH!!

I think it only fitting to post a little about Piratesmate, since some of you posted lovely birthday wishes on the WISH board. She is not the sweet quiet person as she presents herself. Oh No! This woman ( granted this happened when she was a teen) used to chase me with the vacuum cleaner every Saturday and give me a hickey on my neck. On New Years Eve, she filled the upstairs bathtub with water and while our parents had guests downstairs, rubbed her bare feet in the tub to make "breaking wind" noises. When she ironed hankies, she would blow her nose in some and put them back in the hamper. When she ran out of "stuff", she made me do it! She whacked my other sister over the head with an aluminum pot. I could go on and on but....


I have to say, she is one of my best friends in the world and I wouldn't trade any of it for a second! We spent the day together yesterday shopping and I had a blast.

So Happy Birthday sister dear and remember about paybacks - during your son's wedding perhaps? I intend to sit VERY close to you.......watch out!

BTW - In the interest of TRUTH, I was 8 - not a teen - in the vacuum incident.
