On what rides will we get SOAKED??

Popeye's will get you soaked. (It is similar to Kali River)

Dudley Do-Right will most likely get you soaked also. (Like Splash Mountain but wetter)

You may get a soaked on Jurassic Park River Adventure (also similar to Splash). Sometimes I get off completely dry, other times I am soaked. You might get wet at Jaws also but not likely to soak you.

One Fish Two Fish is hit or miss, literally, as is the KidZone at Universal.

I got soaked on Jurassic Park last weekend, it was the first time I had ever gotten wet on that ride - still loved it though!:)

That is an understatement (and I don't mean that to be rude)! We were so wet, everyone on the raft, when we got off of this ride. It was absolutely incredible. We were laughing so hard by the time it was over at the fact that there was not a spot on us that didn't have water running off of us. What a complete blast this ride is, especially on those hot summer days!

This is definetly a don't miss!

Currious George's Playland area is not safe at all so if they plan on going over to this, expect them to get drenched.

We all wear bathing suits to go on Popeye where you get drenched. Those brave enough then go on Dudley do right where you only get soaked.

After that we get changed into our normal clothes.

Got splashed on a few other rides but never that wet.

Be sure to wear crocs or flip-flops or some other water-proof shoes! No athletic shoes or your day will be miserable! Squish-squish!

Agree about the shoes. Here's my breakdown.

Ripsaw falls - Will soak your entire upper body. The front and sides of your shirt will be completely soaked.
Popeye - If you go under a water fall, you'll be complete soaked like standing under a shower. When you get in the raft, put your seat belt on, then put your shoes and socks in the middle compartment. You have to walk into the ride with shoes on, but once in the raft, if you get your seat belt on, you can put the shoes in the middle and the ride ops will let it slide.
JPRA - If you sit in the back row, it's only a little splash.

If you are staying onsite, then wear older shoes, and plan on going back to the hotel after getting soaked. Or you bring a change of cloths and put it in a locker near the front of the park.

I always get soaked on Popeye's and usually get soaked on Ripsaw. Every single time I have ridden Popeye's I have been soaked, either from tidal waves or the waterfalls. A few times on Ripsaw, I have come off dry when I was seated behind a tall person who didn't duck down.

It is also possible, to get pretty wet on the slide in Fievel's playland:yay:

Yeah, thats why I mentioned KidZone as "hit or miss." There are several wet areas in KZ. And if you hear a bell ringing, run like the wind!

Here is a picture of why you get drenched at Curious George playland

Don`t forget that pesky `Mystic fountain`...my two girls got too close and too chatty with the fountain and it was like the heavens had opened, much to the amusement of others standing by, who obviously knew what would happen :laundy:

Since no one has mentioned it I guess I should warn you of yet another "soak" possibility. We have rode Jaws over a hundred times without a wet incident or a misting at most but once I was sitting in the second row, left side when the boat took on water over the side and completely soaked my shorts (billfold included) and my shoes and socks.
