? on visa package

Like everyone recommeded I gave dreamsunlimited a chance to book my package, I have a few ?'s, disney said I could stay at all ASM and dreams said no I could not with this deal? Also dreams couldn't do a room only first night without me checking in and out and disney could? Any ideas on why?

I'm not sure about the first part of your question. Is it possible that some resorts are already booked for the dates you want? Regarding doing "room only" on the first night, I can only report what happened when I recently booked the Visa Package directly thru Disney. They gave me a separate reservation for the first night, as a room-only package, and then a 4 night Visa package.
CM said that technically it is two reservations, and that there is no guarantee that we will keep the same room, but CM said that this was a pretty typical request and said the resort (we are staying at POR) should be able to handle the request. I guess we'll see in March, huh? I am not sure how dreamsunlimited works, but you may have to go directly thorugh Disney.
