On to healthy living......

Welcome back wilderness!
I'm glad that you and DD had a great time at WDW.::yes:: I agree with what the others said- don't worry too much about the scale. I'm sure that the weight will come off in no time!::yes::

Thank you for your post in my journal. It has given DH and I a lot to think about.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! :sunny:

Take care,
Tracy:wave2:

 Hi Wilderness,
Glad to hear you made it back and didn't melt in the Florida humidity ;) :teeth: . It's amazing what things can cost at WDW isn't it? I'm glad you had a wonderful mother/daughter trip though. I'm sure those memories will be with both of you for the rest of your lives.

Sending some PD your way to help you get through your busy week :wizard: . Don't worry about the small gain. I'm sure once you get back on track with your water, you'll be back to where you were in no time ::yes:: .

I never quite made it to the gym yesterday. I had my workout clothes/shoes on, my water bottle with me but then I got sidetracked at a neighbor's house.:confused3

I am on my way right now to the gym. I hope I make it. It is amazing what 10 days of not working out can do to your mindset. I walked and walked and walked in WDW so I am not that worried about the cardio. I just need to get back in the habit of a trip to the gym. I have my water and off I go.:moped: Wish me luck. I could think of 10 different things I would rather be doing right now. I have to work this afternoon and tomorrow we are having people over. I have nothing prepared for the party so I feel a little stressed. We'll see how the day progresses.:D

My workout went well. Cardio was no problem. The weights were a little hard but I survived. I am off to work.

Wilderness:

I'm so glad you had a good trip. Don't worry about being off plan for a few days - that's what makes it a vacation.

I've skipped my walke a couple of days this week with our heatwave and bad air quality. I know I'd better not skip another day or else I'm going to have trouble getting back into the groove again.

Good for you for getting back on track at the gym. I'm so sorry you are short for work - you have the toughest job in the world and I don't understand why they can't get more students through nursing programs!

take care,
Laurie:sunny:

Hi Wilderness,

Glad to hear that you got back to the gym-I know when I went to Disney World and came back, I just didn't feel like going to the gym and I didn't make it back until the New Year (we went to DW in late October last year).

I made a lot of excuses not to go the gym. :guilty:

I hope all went well yesterday for you at work and it wasn't too crazy.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. :sunny:

When you figure out what you want to do when you grow up, let me know, ok. I need to figure it out myself. You are dojng such an amazing job getting to the gym everyday. I am so impressed,. I just can't do it when I've worked. I'm proud of you. Keep up the great work. What meetings do you go to. Is it a committee? Most of our meetings are held on all shifts, and our mandatory modules are online. It must stink to actually go in. Have a good shift.
Beth

Sending you lots of :sunny: and  today. I hope that things start to work out with work for you.

Take good care of you and have a great day!
