Left this morning for the far north with Bar Harbor, Me. is the final destination with many stops in between. We're now settled in at Artillery Ridge CG at Gettysburg Pa. for the next three nights. It was a really trying tow for the 85 miles from our house to here. :rotfl2: This sojourne will be close to 40 days with the WDW saga this Xmas.

On the road again as Willy says and my DW hates that song so I sing a few bars whenever we do thisl :lmao:

Larry

Glad to know I am not the only one who does that.
On the road again -
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is making music with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again

Goin' places that I've never been.
Seein' things that I may never see again

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again -
Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We're the best of friends.
Insisting that the world keep turning our way

And our way
is on the road again.
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is makin' music with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again

Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We're the best of friends

Insisting that the world keep turning our way

And our way

Just can't wait to get on the road again.

And I can't wait to get on the road again.

Stop singing that song. stop stop stop.

For payback how bout this.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small small world.

Hey Larry!!

Glad you came out of hiding! Sounds like you have an adventurous summer planned!! Have fun and stay safe! Eat some Lobstah for me, will ya??

Ok, you want to play that game....

Get this out of your head!

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of ev'ryday
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away

Man has a dream and that's the start
He follows his dream with mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me

So there's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of ev'ryday
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Just a dream away

LOL, have a great summer Larry! Be safe and have tons of fun!

I wanna play....

Now is the time,
Now is the best time,
Now is the best time of your life!
Life is a prize,
Live every minute
Open your eyes and watch how you win it

Yesterday's mem'ries may sparkle and gleam,
Tomorrow is still but a dream
Right here and now,
You've got it made,
The world's forward marching and you're in the parade!

Now is the time,
Now is the best time,
Be it a time of joy or strife,
There's so much to cheer for,
Be glad you're here for it's the best time of your life!

Thank you all for your well wishes and with this trip we'll have camped in 45 of the lower 48 states (Kansas, North Dakota and Minnesota are still on our hit list) for our next trip to the west coast.

I'll take a giant T-bone or Porterhouse steak over a Lobster anyday, but DW loves the Lobster about as much as I love raw oysters.

THESE are the two things I really miss at Disney. I know that "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" is the original, but for me, the original is "Now is the Time". I hate the current version of "Imagination". BRING BACK THE DREAM FINDER & MORE FIGMENT!!!

Safe and Happy Trails to you Larry!

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here's a happy one for you.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?

Have a great summer Larry.

Try to get this out of your mind and not whistle to this.

Hi ho, Hi ho
It's home from work we go
(whistles)
Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho

SAFE TRAVELS

That's why I picked this time to go, but now a week into this we have been rained on every day and saw like 2 hours of sun yesterday as we crossed from Pa into Ct.

We are currently camped in Clinton, Ct. and on Sat we visit DW's first cousin that we haven't seen in almost 30 yrs.

We stopped in Harrisburg and visited the National Civil War Museum that opened in 2001 and the artifacts that they have collected was amazing and was worth the stop.

On Sunday we head up to Cape Cod for 4 days, then on to points north:thumbsup2

Larry

Have a safe and enjoyable trip Larry! Hope you enjoy "my" state while you're here!

Just an update we are now tucked into the KOA at Bar Harbor, Me for the next 5 nites and this is about as far north as we will go this trip. We plan to take a bus tour of Acadia NP and a Bar Harbor nature cruise, plus doing a giant feed fest at some of the restaurants. :goodvibes

From Clinton, Ct. we hit Cape Cod Ma and visited the Plimouth Plantation, Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II. From there one has to stop in Freeport Me and spend $$$ at the L.L. Bean store even thou we have a giant one only 10 miles from us in Tyson's Corner. Had lunch in Freeport at a little out of the way place and had some great Lobster Bisque and a Lobster Roll and even a non lobster eater is was yummy.:thumbsup2

From here is over to Mt. Washington, NH and Vermont (mainly just because we have never camped in Vt. before so it's a must do) then back down to Valley Forge, Hershey Park and finally home.

This will complete our "Excellent Adventure Part II" ... Part III will be a trip down to the Fl keys in the next couple of years. Part IV is still TDB, but might be a repeat of Part I which was a grand circle of the U.S. basically coast to coast and border to border.

Sounds like you've been pretty busy! Lovely area of the country. Looking forward to reading about your visit to Mt. Washington. We used to vacation quite frequently in the White Mountains of New Hampshire years ago.
Safe and Happy travels. :drive:
