On the road 6/26

I tried this over on the transportation board but did not get any help,so I thought I would try here. We are headed down on the 26th and was wondering how the road constuction is and how diesel prices, we are going to go right down 95 then head over to 301 in Fl. to Rt 27, we are staying @ The Thousand Trails park for 4 nights before we go into the Fort on 7/1-7/8.
Any info or help will be great we are pulling are 2 larger 5th wheels.

Road const near Brunswick GA. on I-95. Diesel prices here in SC are from 2.85 to 2.99

Diesel at the Walmart in Kissimmee just outside WDW is $2.89.

I made that run last weekend. Construction is as mentioned already. 495 in DC was jammed and 95 between DC and Richmond was stop and go due to Construction and an accident. We jumped over to US1 and enjoyed the ride. Fuel was 3.19- 2.89 (worst-best). When you jump over to 301 and come thru Callahan Fl wave at us. If it is lunch time, park in the Winn Dixie parking lot and walk across the the road to Callahan BBQ. Best Chicken/Burgers/BBQ around.

Thanks for the info I really like the tip for lunch,we really thougt right to Thousand Trails from our stop @ Green Acres but it's hard to pass up good BBQ thanks again
