Now I need to see if they ever give discounts on the villas. We have a studio booked on marathon weekend and couldn't get the AAA rate even. I couldn't ask about that one this morning because I was trying to get my kids ready for school.

Where in MA did you live? I'm on the south shore, but I'm originally from the New Jersey shore! Been here in MA going on 10 years, and I love it!! I loved the New Jersey shore too, but I've really grown attached to this "small town" here. A great place to raise kids.

YEAH! I just called and got Port Orleans Riverside dropped from 145 to 99 a night for January 11-15!!! That includes the holiday weekend. My last passholder trip for a couple of years. YEAH!

Just curious....

What kind (type/size) of room did you get at AKL CL for $399 per night?? We're booked in what's called a "Standard - Kilimanjaro Club" room for $310 per night, this is with the AAA discount. It's also (I'm assuming) just a standard sized room, not a deluxe sized room that is the usual room for CL. I hope for $399 that it's a suite or deluxe room or something!

I'm from Framingham but moved to Florida about 6 years ago. We're trying to get back to MA in the near future.

I just called for marathon weekend (Jan 5-7) and there aren't any rooms available at any of the hotels on the boardwalk at all. I'm so sad because I had a AAA rate at first but then forgot to call back to book it and lost the rate by one day! Now we're paying $50 a night more because of my stupid mistake.

I switched my prefered view room at CBR for 1/12-15 to $114/per night +tax. We check into OKW on the 15th. Originally we were paying $160+tax rack then $128+tax AAA. Every little bit helps.

Just got off the phone & had wanted a standard room for Pop but they only had prefered.. took that for $71 + tax.. I am still going to try for standard..
Also what I found strange was that there weren't any rooms open in any of the AllStars! I am going MLK weekend. Now I know that the Allstars didn't sell out yet I just do not think they added all that they could yet...
CM also said that FL rates were not out yet.. will be soon ....

Yeah, AP rates. I got AKL standard room 2/1-2/7 for $135 a night. That was all that was available for my timeframe. So the remaining time 2/7-2/13 at POFQ king bed $114 a night. What is going on the first part of February that they are so booked at most resorts.....even with regular rates, no AP????
Just glad to be going back to Disney anyway. Hope the February weather is nice and warm.

yes my room is a deluxe concierge at akl. i had a standard concierge room booked but changed my mind about the whole switching resorts and canceled but now none of those rooms are available with or without ap rate. still we want to do sunrise safari so one night in concierge it is.

Got WL Woods view (1/31 -2/4) for $160/night before tax.

AKL was available with pool view for $150/night before tax.

BWI standard was $235/night before tax.

Poly had lagoon view $345/night before tax.


It looks as if the deluxes are a savings of $80/night. Not too shabby.

I called for 2/3-2/12. Not much available. Nothing except a suite at WL, nothing at AKL. Only mod available was CBR. I ended up getting a BCV studio for $235 a night.

not sure off the top of my head, but you can look it up at www.disneyworld.com and it will list the different ones available.. I am a Fl resident.. that one I can tell you, but you don't need it...

bab31: A regular (not premium) AP costs $462 (and some change) right now. I see that you're going for 7 nights. It might work out for you to buy one--but call first to see if they have the resort you want for the dates you want.
