My results:

Got to change from standard to woods view at WL AND saved about $25 per night over and above the AAA discount we had. Actually per night savings is probably more because I went from standard to woods view.

NOTHING at all available at AKL.

All in all, I saved about $50 and moved up from standard to woods at AKL. My AKL CL reservation just stayed the same, but at least I had gotten the AAA discount on it when I first booked.

I'm satisfied. I hope the rest of you can get in on the discounts!

Just got off the phone. No discounts for CR of Poly. GF has a MK view for $385, WL Deluxe room $405 and YC Waterview for $305. I kept our Poly GV with AAA rate for $279. Good luck to anyone else.

Someone please tell me they were wrong so I will try again.

Just got WL woods view Feb. 10th (can't get 9th yet) or $180. Is that good? I switched my res. from Contemporary for $253 a night so we could stay 2 nights instead of one.

Ok, not only was there no AP discount at all at AKL, but the price went up due to Orange County tax increase, so I had to give her my credit card number so she could charge the $2 difference! Ah well, I saved about $50 with my WL reservation AND went up from standard view to woods view, so I can't complain.

Just booked AKL Savannah bunk room for 230 a night before taxes. Just cancelled a king bed wing CR room if that helps anyone.Jan1-6. Poly,CR CSR all not available for this time. Good Luck everyone.

O.K. update. The CM I just spoke to earlier thought what guest services said did not make sense either. She spent time getting her computer to finally open my reservation(that is why Guest services got involved.) looked up my reservation, checked my dates AND CALLED ME BACK TO SAY SHE FOUND SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her name is Adrian Marie and she is wonderful. She had not mentioned calling me back and I did not expect it. She did it just to be helpful. Let's hear it for Adrian Marie. Anyone know the address of where I can send letter to management to praise her efforts! I moved my res. to 1/3 though1/11 and got courtyard bunkbeads for 215.00 had hoped for woods view. But will definetely take this.

Yes that is very good! I originally had a reservation at WL in a standard view room with the AAA discount and it was $204 per night. Just changed it to woods view for only $180 per night!

I don't think there are many rooms available at the AP rate-- I got through right away, and the only availability at the discount were Savannah view bunk bed rooms at AKL-- I don't need bunk beds, but it was cheaper then my other SV room without a discount-- sorry to all you families who may want one!!!

My dates are marathon weekend, though...

I just got AK Savannah View for $205 for the week of 1/13 - 1/21! I'm so excited because we were booked into a pool view at $230...so we're saving a little bit of money AND upgrading to a better room! Yay!!

I was originally in a standard view at WL, they had no AP discounts available for standard, only woods, which ended up saving us over $25 per night.

We are there the same time as you so I don't think you'll find a discount for standard view, keep the great rate for the woods view, I think you will love the Wilderness Lodge!

Thanks! I'm excited - I've never stayed there before. I probably wouldn't have even considered it until I found this board!

Now I need to see if they ever give discounts on the villas. We have a studio booked on marathon weekend and couldn't get the AAA rate even. I couldn't ask about that one this morning because I was trying to get my kids ready for school.

Oh - and I'm originally from Mass too!
