I just started my shopping! I picked up a couple of things for the kids this weekend at Zellers. They had 40% off all clearance toys, and I found a Leapster cartridge and a Hot Wheels track both on clearance.
It's so hard shopping early for the kids. Pre-kids, I used to have my shopping done by October. Shopping that early is impossible now because the kids don't know what they really want. I figure what I bought this weekend is a good bet, but if they don't seem interested in those kinds of things anymore by Christmas, I'll keep the receipt and pick up something else.
. I am a hunter of the rare and exclusive "GREAT DEALS", and I hunt for it often. I have been a successful hunter, and because of it, have bought enough stuff to cover all of our family, friends, and supply gifts for door prizes to the various vintage car groups we belong to. We have a small house, and it's pretty sad when I have run out of space to hide things, and has encroached into the living room. I've never been so maxed out of space this far away from Christmas.
I have to buy a small gift for my hubby, and my mother and I'm done. I start hunting for the rare "GREAT DEAL" starting in Jan, and hunt throughout the year for it.
