On the fence about solo trip

So sorry to hear about your friend...

I would suggest going solo... you want to see the XMas decorations (they are beautiful!) and you already have most of the trip planned. Go for it!!

My Mom wants to see them this year, so we are planng a trip in early December. I hope you decide to do it and have a wonderful time

I'm actually getting excited! Food budget will be cheaper. I have hoppers, so I can go anywhere I want. I can shop as long as I want. Drink by the pool. I'm actually convinced this is a wonderful idea!!!
AK is my least favorite park, I don't even have to go if I don't want to!

Last time we went, 2008, before DHS closed for the night, the DDs and DH wanted to do Rock N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror one last time. I didn't, so I spent my time walking around. It was dark and hardly anyone was there. It was so peaceful. That is one of my favorite memories. I really think it's gonna work out! I even changed my ticker

I have been to DL and WDW solo, and to WDW with a group of 9, and believe me after that trip I prefer to go solo. No nagging, I get to chose what I want to do, eat where I want to eat, sit and relax when I want to sit and relax (I think you get the point). And besides if you do decide that solo isn't for you then you never have to do it again, but you'll never know unless you try.

Besides I'll be there Dec 2-11 so if you want to meet up sometime not a problem. Just give me a holler.

Yay, another "freak"!


Yes I love that ride but my friends (as well as most people) consider it a "once per trip" ride, so I always break off from them so I can ride it nag-free!

Well, call me a freak because COP is one of my favorites! And going with family, yep, it's a once per trip attraction. I think it's the most underrated attraction in any park. It's just SO Walt. You know?

Remember a few years ago when the rumor was they were going to shut it down. I was heartbroken. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get another trip in before it closed. Here we are, 4 years later and that rumor is dead and COP lives on!!

I'd like to do that. Maybe we can work something out. Shouldn't be too hard. I havent made any ADRs yet, and honestly, I think the only one I will make is for 50's Primetime Cafe. Everything else will be counter service. We have three months, I'm sure we can meet up~

That sounds great and it just so happens I have a lunch ADR at 50's Primetime on Dec 4.

3 months, it sounds so far away, but I know it will be here before we know it.

I remember that! In fact when I first started visiting WDW (2005) CoP was technically "seasonal." Thank goodness they changed that.

I'm very normal, but I get really giddy and excited at Disney! And yes, I have cried tears of joy entering MK. But honestly, I'm a good girl. PM me if you think you might want to do this. You can think on it since we do have 3 months!

Just returned the other ticket to Undercover Tourist, they were SO nice when I explained everything. And I called WDW with my flight info. I can't believe I'm doing this!!!

Sounds like we found a perfect mate for dinner!! Dec 4 is great for me. It will be my last night. But what better way to end it than eating at my fave restaurant.
