Hi everyone,

Were were lucky to just get some last minute ressies for a June trip. The first 3 nights are in a std studio and the last night is a 1BR preferred. Both are at BWV. We couldn't get all 4 nights in a studio.

Has anyone checked out and in on at the same resort before? How does this work?

We very excited to be going home and will definately be happy regardless of the process.

Thank you

We did this once at VWL. Seems to me we went down in the morning and checked out. They came up and got our bags from the room and stored them somewhere. We asked if the new room was ready at that time but they said no. So we went to a park for the day and then went back after 4:00 and our new room was ready. It was pretty painless.

JUst a sidenote, we went from a 1-br to a studio. Glad to see you are doing the opposite. After being in the 1-br, the studio felt a bit cramped for us.

Have a great trip!

We did this at BWV last October and are doing it again this Sept. Just like Melk said, we just checked in to our room in the morning and had bell services hold our stuff until our room was ready. (there was no need to checkout since we had express checkout)

The good thing is you don't need to worry if your bags were transferred from your previous hotel. Also, just tell them which groceries you need kept cold and they will do that for you.

Thank you Melk and Lexxiefern!

Sounds like we can have bell services tranport our bags from one room to the other. It doesn't get any easier than that!

Count us in with those that have done this several times and it is very easy. Disney makes transferring from resort to resort a snap (we do this all the time also), but transferring within the same resort is really a breeze!
Have a great trip!

We do this often, starting the trip on a Friday and staying in a studio for Fri Sat, and then moving to a one bedroom on Sunday morning. I normally go down early (before 8:00) and see if our room is ready. Both times we got one on the same floor so the move was easy (and it really saved us on points.)

I don't think I would recomend moving from a 1 bedroom to a studio, that would seem like a down grade.
