On site info (weather, character locations) via the phone?

Is there a phone number you can call from the phone at your resort where you can get the forcast while you are at WDW?

We have pretty flexable plans this next trip and don't want to hit a Water Park on a day when they are calling for considerable rain. (more than the typical afternoon quick soaker)

Also - can you call from a resort phone and get the info on Character Appearances for the day? (i know you can get this at the Guest Services counter or from certain CMs in the parks, but i would like to know this info before starting my day.)

I'm not sure about the weather on the phone, but the Disney channels on the TV always had the weather forcast.

As for characters, we called Guest Services on the phone to see where we could find Sleeping Beauty the next day and they provided the time and location.
