I've searched the threads and read the stickys and am still confused. :confused3 Looking at Universal's website, it looks like one of the perks of staying at one of the three onsite hotels is the express pass and early admission to WWHOP. But I've seen conflicting things on DIS - that we have to purchase a package to get early admission. So here is my question - if we book a room at one of the three on-site hotels (not a partner hotel) and purchase our tickets through Universal, can we get early admission to WWHOP???

This is our first trip to US so thank you in advance for your words of wisdom.

Yes...you would get early entry into WWoHP. I didn't read your question completely on the other thread and have changed the response.

Sorry for the confusion.
:flower3:

For anyone else reading and confused...Onsite people always get early entry and unlimited express access.

Offsite people must purchase a package through universal to get early entry. They still will not get unlimited express access(they can purchase 1 ride per ride express line access with the express plus pass, or unlimited express line access with the VIP ticket).

Thank you for the clarifications! They helped immensely. Glad to know I don't have to purchase a package now. But one follow-up: if staying onsite (at one of the three onsite hotels), do I have to purchase tickets through Universal to obtain the benefits of early admission and express pass?

You can buy the tickets anywhere you wish, as long as the are a valid ticket. Your early entry and unlimited express pass is your hotel key.:thumbsup2

Good Info to know.
Thanks
This will be helpful for our trip later this year.
Being a Newbie, I need all the help I can get.
