On site hotel for 5?

I am looking to stay on site in Dec 2007 for 3 adults and 2 kids. I know the pop resorts only allow 4 per room. HELP

There are several, but none of them are super cheap:

Family Suite in All-Star Music
Port Orleans Riverside (Alligator Bayou section)---only if one of your five is smallish.
Most Deluxe resorts EXCEPT for Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge
(these two have five-person rooms, but they are "deluxe" rooms, and more expensive than regular rooms in the resort.)
Ft. Wilderness cabins.

The most affordable alternative will be POR-AB.

you can also rent points for a 1-bedroom - the problem with the 1-bedroom is - it has a king bed and queen sleeper sofa - that is it.

so you would need to bring an air mattress.

OKW is the best bargin. another problem with OKW is one bathroom.

I would go with 2 rooms at any of the value resorts.

you know that even the value resorts allow 4 plus one child under 3 (might be 2).

oh all the WDW resorts will charge you extra for that extra adult - only two are allowed per room.

but the DVC resorts won't.

Beyond what others have said, if you want less expensive, then offsite would be an option.

WE stayed at POR, and while it wasn't my favorite of the moderates, there is enough room for five people to sleep. The fifth bed is a trundle bed (I think Disney calls it a murphy bed), so duinr the day, it rolls under one of the other beds.

Also, at POR you'll get two double beds. At the All Star suites, you'll get one king sixed bed, and the rest are pull out. Supposedly excellent quality pull outs, but pull outs. You also get a coffee mekaer and a few other extras, I think a fridge, that you wouldn't ordinarily get at a value resort.
