On Site & Early Entry

I've read that people staying on site get early entry every day that it is offered.

How does that work? We have 4 day park hopper's (purchaced at our local Disney store in the mall). Do we show our parkhopper along with our room key? Does the hotel give us something to show the cast members at the gate?

At check in you will receive a paper "charge slip" to charge purchases to your room. Present this along with your tickets to get EE - M,T,TH,SA

The paper slip from the hotel is best but once when entering early we were told our room keys would work but that may just be for DCA. One EE they just checked at the front gates and another morning you had to show it again part way down main street. If you only have one paper make sure your whole party gets to the end of main street before splitting up.
