On Property Magicband and linking question

We are planning a trip for May 2018. We will be staying at a DVC resort but not sure which one yet. We are using RCI points fr the DVC exchange. I am consdidering buyng tickets from Undercover Toruist as they are a little cheaper. Question is. If I stay at the timeshare and buy my tickets elsewhere will I get Magicbands from the resort? I know if I get the tickets from Disney directly I will get them because I would attach them to the room reservation.

Assuming you get magic bands with DVC, you will get them. I’m not familiar with DVC and am not sure if that aspect works like regular resort reservations. The complimentary magic band is linked to your resort, not your tickets.
