On property hotel discounts in May?

We've booked All-Star Movies for the first week of May. They told me that if I got a hold of a code I could call back and they'd apply it to my reservation. Has anyone ever used a code in the past for the first week of May? About how much was your room per night with the code. When do the codes come out? We don't have AAA or AP or anything like that.

This past May (arriving May 7) we were at the Port Orleans Riverside, and used a discount code. We paid $94 a nite for a waterview with a trundle bed, and the rack rate was $159 a nite. Needless to say, we were very happy to have found the discount code!
If I remember correctly, we found the code in early March, and if went into effect in mid-April through the end of May. We found it on Mousesavers.com.

I would call back and get the AAA rate for your stay. The first week of May should be pretty slow for them so you should get some type of discount. Besides, I've read that the AAA rates are out for 2005. It may serve you to go ahead and get a AAA discount ressie then join AAA. I think it is $35 or $45 a year for a membership. Just see if your savings at the resort would surpass the amount of a AAA membership.
