So... if Epcot has EMH from 8-9AM, do the busses for ALL the parks start running at 7AM? So we can catch a 7AM bus to MK even though they don't open until 9?

Staying at Fort Wilderness and would like to be at Magic Kingdom as early as possible!

Okay! Awesome! We will rely on the busses then to pick us up at Fort Wilderness by 7 every morning! YAY!

Do the busses start earlier for a 7am opening? It was suggested that I be at the bus stop at 6am for a 7am MK opening.

Once bad info is on the internet, it stays forever.

That’s true! It seems to be the most committed Disney will be to a time though. ;) but one hour before definitely doesn’t make sense with PPO ADRs and AM EMH!

Not a bus but a boat from the settlement to magic kingdom if you are at Fort Wilderness. Running starts around 630.

Keep in mind that while the buses start early, the boat to MK will not hit the FW dock until about 1/2 hr before park opening. The boat to CR/WL starts earlier than that, so we occasionally took the boat to CR and walked to MK from there.

The bus to MK from FW does not leave where the rest of the buses go from at the Outpost. It picks up near the Settlement.

Ok! Thank you! Will keep that in mind.

Hijacking this thread a little - so sorry! A friend who is there today went to AK this morning to swap out the banshee they bought because it wasn't working, and was going to head back to the resort to finish packing and check-out. She was ready to leave the park around 9:30, to find out that there are no buses back to the resorts from the parks before 11am? Just two buses that will run guests back to different resorts as needed. She had to take one back to OKW that was also going to Caribbean Beach and Saratoga Springs. We were both surprised by this as we didn't remember that being the set-up in past trips and hadn't heard anything about it starting recently. Is this a recent change, or has it been the rule for a while and we just didn't realize it? I admit I can't think of a time where we've tried to head back to the resort so soon after park opening.

I don't know if it is something "new and/or official" or just something a CM said.

I've had to "ask" for a specific bus at DAK in the morning a time or two.
But, it was not to a resort.
We wanted to hop to MK, but no bus came for over 20 minutes.
The CM at the DAK bus loading area stopped a driver and asked him to take us there.

Oh, yes - this scenario we've run into many times. We almost missed our ME bus from the resort to the airport because we were waiting at MK for a bus to take us back to POP. We waited an hour before one showed up, with no CMs around to ask. In hindsight, someone could have gone back to the front of MK to ask someone there, but we were concerned that the second one of us was a good distance away, the bus would show up.

The situation this morning seemed more like a policy change, not like a bus should have come in that time and just didn't. They said no buses run from the parks to the resorts before 11am. Only from the resorts to the parks, which seemed very odd to us. Just something we want to factor in to any future plans if it is a new (or just new to us) policy change.

Again, we don't know if it is something "new and/or official" or just something a CM said.

I am confident this is incorrect. I also cannot comprehend Disney implementing such a mind-numbingly bad “policy change”.
