On our weigh and bringing Tagalongs ~ Sept '14 PTR ~ UPDATED 9/8 x2

Day 24 ~ Watch The Jungle Book

Day 23 ~ Learn "We are Friends"

We did this using the Bear-e-oke on the DVD.

Day 22 ~ Think about a friend you would like to wend a post card to from Disney.

Cinderella picked her friend Sully. (I already have his address saved in my phone so it works out nicely) Now I need to remember a stamp!

This picture was taking at the beginning of Summer when we went to Busch Gardens together.

We had a couple of changes happen last week.

First, we got an email saying Tough to be a Bug was no longer a Fastpass option as it would be down and that they replaced it with Festival of the Lion King and I changed it to Disney Pals.

Second, James and I did some talking about MNNSHP. He really didn't want to spend the money on it at the age that Cinderella is. I decided to just let it go and start thinking about what else to do. I knew that Becky and Sally were playing on going bowling that Sunday while we did the party.

We asked Cinderella and she said she would rather go bowling then the party. I however was not so keen on going to DTD on a Sunday to go bowling :scared1: James suggested our last day but Becky and I both wanted to go to the park that day plus the biggest deal breaker for that day that is the day of our Anna and Elsa fastpass, so I told him that was a no go.

I then remember that we want to try for Raglan Road on Thursday night of our trip. I decided that would be the best day to do Splitsville and DTD and we are aiming to go in the morning and will probably just do lunch at Raglan Road. I am actually kind of excited about this as I have been wanting to try out Splitsville since it opened and it will be Cinderella's first time bowling!:thumbsup2

Third, Because of the non park day change I had to change Thursday's Epcot fastpasses to Sunday and also I was able to talk James into a Via Napoli lunch ADR too :cool1: and we are also going to pay for all of us to do this. It will be a surprise to Becky and Sally. I am so so excited tho because I was bummed we werent eating here this trip as I love their pizza and Cinderella LOVES pepperoni pizza. (She is a picky eater) Horray!!!!!!

This is what our Fastpasses for the changed days looked like before

9/11 Epcot

10:30-11:30 Soarin'
12:15-1:15 Spaceship Earth
1:50- 2:50 Character Spot (Cinderella and I)

11:30-12:30 It's Tough to be a Bug (James, Sally, and Cinderella)
11:40-12:40 Everest (Becky and I)

Here our the new ones

9/11 Park Break Day

Then we also have our

ADR at 2pm

I am going to do our Daily Plans soon.

I haven't been exercising lately. The Williamsburg trip messed me up so I haven't been getting on the elliptical at all since getting back.

I plan on starting again tonight and doing at least 5 days a week but 6 would be better especially with the trip coming up.

I have been keeping up with my calories and I have also been walking and doing stuff around the house more than usual.

I have still lost some weight. I am at 138.6 and my new goal before Disney is to get to 135. I think if I start exercising again I should be able to do it!

That means I have lost 26.4 pounds altogether since March when I started. :hyper:

:banana::yay::yay: 26.4 pounds that is awesome!!

Your plans sound great I hope to one day try Via Napoli :)

Hi!
Just read through all 5 pages so far, and I love your countdown activities. I hope you're having as much fun with them as Cinderella is!

Your FP+ selections look great. I can't wait to see your daily plans.

We've got fairly similar weight loss goals for Disney ... I'm at 137 (as of Friday) and trying to get down to about 130 for my trip (I have a little bit more time than you - I'm not going until November). Congrats on the 26.4 pounds lost since March ... that's a great accomplishment.:woohoo:

Hi Rachel!!! Our AK days are still the same so maybe I'll see you in the park! I'll be the one in my crazy animal pattern shirt! :lmao: Yeah, we've done the party once and while we had a great time, none of my family wanted to go again......it's ok though. We've never been to Splitsville but it looks fun. Bowling and my back just don't go well together. I'm very, very proud of you and your weight loss!!! Great job! If only I could lose the extra, extra, extra weight I carry. I've even done the lap band surgery, but had to have it removed. (Long story). So, again, kudos to you!!!

Hi Rachel! :)

Glad to hear you had a fun and busy weekend!! ALSO what is a fish extender?! :rotfl:

Congrats on your weight loss!! That's terrific! My goal right now is 135 too :)

Thanks, I am hoping to be able to start tomorrow with the Daily plans.

Yay, I find I am actually enjoying working out on the ellpitical, the hard part for me is monitoring my food, what about you? I am sure you can do it! Congrats on your weight loss too :woohoo: and Thank you!!

Here is a link that explains fish extenders http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1219607

Thank you! I am sure you can hit your goal!!

I just want to say Thank you again! Hearing the love about my weight loss makes all the hard work worth while!!! :goodvibes You are all very sweet and I am touched by your kind words. :cloud9:

I thought I had subbed to this! Following along again because it disappeared, I'll try and catch up here soon!

I love the elliptical, and I'm a little sad that I don't have access to one anymore. I use the treadmill, but I don't love it. I actually just started running (again - I've been stopping and starting for years, but this time I'm sticking with it!), and I love that.
Monitoring food is also really hard for me. I track my breakfasts and lunches, but by dinner time I'm too tired to keep track of what I'm eating (or how much). I'm also really bad with snacking - whenever I'm in the kitchen (even if it's just to fill up my water bottle) I feel like I have to eat. And the worst is when I'm making lunch or reheating leftovers and I grab a cookie while I'm waiting for the food to be ready.
Oh well, at least I know where I have room for improvement.

I can't wait to see the daily plans!

Looks like you have some positive changes in the lineup!

Congrats on the weight loss. That's a big number; you must have worked very hard to lose that much!

I hope you continue the updates on your countdown; such a great idea!!

I stoped buying the snacks and cookies until I could control myself because I used to do the same. I was especially bad with Chips so for a while I brought the individual bags.

At first I was sad about giving up MNSSHP but now I am excited about the changes!

Thank you, it was hard work but it is worth it.

I am getting ready to post another one of our countdowns and Thank you!

Day 21 ~ Watch Frozen

Day 20 ~ "Do you wanna build a snowman?" Craft

Day 19 ~ What would you like to ask Anna and Elsa?

Anna - What is your favorite color?

Elsa - Is it fun to have powers?

We also watched another movie last night as Daddy was not home, he stayed with a coworker because he had a job that took two days and was 3 hours from our house.

It was a nice mommy/daughter night.

I stoped buying the snacks and cookies until I could control myself because I used to do the same. I was especially bad with Chips so for a while I brought the individual bags.

I wish I could do that! The rest of my family would mutiny. I wish I could convince my family to eat healthier, but alas, they're not really that interested.

I love her Olaf, he’s so cute! (But I also love Olaf in general, so I'm a little biased).

It’s so nice that you guys got to have a mommy/daughter night! I’ve actually never seen Dumbo (I know, crazy), but it’s on my list of movies to watch before my next trip. I hope you guys enjoyed!

Our parents (Becky and mine) will be taking us to the airport and since Becky lives with them and we live on the way to the airport they will be picking us up. James has already decided he will head over to their house the day before with our suitcases, stroller, and Cinderella's car seat so we will be ready to leave as soon as they get to our house. Our flight is at 7ish so we should be leaving around 5-5:30am.

We will be landing around 9ish at MCO.

Then we will be heading to the Magical Express check in. Then getting on the beautiful ME bus!

I am thinking we should get to Bay Lake Tower by 10ish. I am hoping we can check in and that our room will be ready so we can drop off our extra stuff and change.

I am sure we will be in the park by 11.

We will probably get some pictures and maybe do a meet and greet before heading to our Splash Mountain Fastpass.

Then it will be off to lunch at Be Our Guest.

We will just see where we want to head after that for a little while then it will be off to

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

I am hoping to hit a few more rides before heading back to the room to clean up for out CRT ADR.

After dinner since Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm.

Next we are hoping to go to the TOtWL to hopefully see the Hallowishes fireworks. After that it will be bed time!!!

Thankfully Cinderella snacks that she likes I am not big on. James, my husband on the other hand just picked up snacks out while working and complained we didn't have any snacks in house when he was home and I ignored him. My biggest saving grace was that caffeine started giving me heart palpitations so I basically cut out all sodas and mainly drink water now.

I found the Olaf craft on Pinterest. I plan on laminating it so she can have fun with it for awhile.

We did enjoy our night, Thank you!

Your plans are looking great! I'm sure Cinderella is going to just LOVE dinner at her castle :)

I love all the activities you are doing that go with the movies! We have been watching Disney Movies but I don't think DBF would join me in any crafts :rotfl2:

I can't wait to have kids to do all these fun things with...someday :rolleyes1 :)

Thank you, I actually forgot to mention she will be wearing her Cinderella dress to. (I will post a pic from last Halloween.)

My husband would not do the crafts with me before DD but now sometime he has to help, it is amazing what Daddy's will do for their little girls! :lovestruc

It is fun to have her to do things with, this is the first year we have ever really done anything like this. She is so excited this year. Almost every morning she comes into my room and says "mommy how many more days until Disney?" "How many days do you think we have?" Then she says the right number. This is before we change the countdown calendar and everything.

It is related to our trip.

Today we were getting our suitcases out. Cinderella picked the suitcase her Daddy said she should take instead of her regular one but that is fine. The cute part is that she said she needed to start packing now and wanted to take the suitcase to her room so we pulled out the handle and now her suitcase is sitting in her room waiting to be packed.

Just a cute picture

While we were getting our suitcases out today we also discovered that James' suitcase was broken, the back was completely shattered, and their was a whole near where the handle is. We think it happened last year when his suitcase got lost on the way home. We have decided that we will wait to buy him a new one and he will borrow from his parents or mine this year.

Also tonight I went through my Disney storage bag, where I buy stuff throughout the year for the plan or park or whatever. Apparently I might have gotten carried away so I saved some for a later date. Here is what I have tho:

This is mainly surprise stuff for Cinderella

Park stuff mainly

Well James and I are headed to Busch Gardens in the morning with Becky and Sally. Cinderella is staying with her grandparents so it can be a adult ride day. I should be heading to bed.

One more quick thing tho, a friend from high school boyfriend of 10 years and father to their son died Thursday night. I am asking you to please pray for her and her family.

Day 18 ~ Watch Monsters, Inc.

Day 17 ~ Draw a Monster your choice scary or silly.

Unfortunately this is the first activity Cinderella did not want to do so I did not make her. It is supposed to be fun! (I think it had a little to do with Daddy being home and it was raining so just kind of hang out with us instead of working or doing outside chores)

Day 16 ~ Come up with a joke to text at the Laugh Floor

We did this with Becky and Sally's help since we were all together tonight. Parents came to drop Cinderella off/ pick Becky and Sally up so we had dinner all together. I am keeping this a secret though I will post it on my TR (I am hoping to do one)
