On our way. Stopped off in MD for first gas stop and gettin grub at a Dennys. Wife not happy, they're out of croutons. How do you advertise a Cesar salad with croutons and then bring out a crouton-less salad?

We were supposed to have left this morning for our 8 night stay at the Fort. Would have been our first trip since 2008. But we had to cancel.

Tell her there's worse problems to have than no croutons.

We just pulled off in VA for a quick nap.
Had to check the undercarriage. A semi blew a tire in front of us. Luckily there's no unrepairable damage and the damage we sustained will be a quick fix. Now to get some shut eye so we can get rolling before dawn

Fresh local food is better than chains, makes for a better mood and less bathroom stops on the way

We depend on our I-95 exit guide to find local restaurant and avoid those chains like the plague, even Cracker Barrel.

Just gassed up in St Augustine for final leg. What a long day.

Tigger- had my wife post the last. Got my hands full. Atleast it's not windy.

We have 338. A nice site on the inside. Very easy to back into in the dark rain. As we entered Florida, my 8 year old daughter says,"isn't this the sunshine state? And where are all the oranges?"

I had to reply both the sunshine and oranges are elsewhere today.

Tomorrow is a day set aside to chillax. Maybe some fishing, some bike riding or maybe a dip in the pool. I'll let the kids decide.
